You need to take very proactive measures.
My wife placed spikes on top of the ac units, then hang a few reflective strips to create movement and anxiety,  then to top it off, an alarm sensor.
Now there is near to no pigeons because they have a good memory and avoid my house.. The neighbors still get them though

Do you live in PJ? Because if you see people feeding pigeons, you can actually take a picture + video of the culprit and send it to MBPJ, they will find that same person and fine them RM250.

Pigeons ain't no protective species yo, should whack that MB in question in their head, because pigeons DO cause illness and also dirty up the environment

Haha bro I just won a battle againts the pigeon that made the drain pipe above my AC split unit their home, before they came it was spotless, after 2 weeks it got so dirty with poo and made me so pissed. Its above the condo void area.

at first I tried to lastik them with paper bullets, manage to hit one but missed alot. I found the most effective method accidentally using nerf gun and soapy water.

So every night when they start chilling at that area, I attacked the pigeon with my kids nerf gun. I did these for two nights, they haven't come back for months now hahaha
Basically you should drive them away when there are chilling in the area, I think they somehow remember it and never comes back.

The aunty probably has a brain the size of a pigeon's.

these are harmless, makes a big bang and shoots out confetti. Just press the button on the stick.
the regular pigeons will learn not to come but new pigeons will come again....its not a permanent solution

I have tried many ways - fake owl, spikes, laser, nothing works 100%. Even laser also cant chase them away
Im tempted to buy a cheap toy drone to chase them. Dont know effective or not 

btw i have reported to DBKL. They did send someone to scout around. In their report, they said they caught 8 hahahaha....so dont bother reporting - council is useless
