Stayed in the city BUT avoided ZTL zones… trick is to identify ZTL capture sensor locations… & match these locations with traffic directions. Then avoid those points.

Anyway… rode trams too for the expetience… Tram was packed.

Tired walking… too many things to see… Roma is truly an open-air museum… rode in the Bigbus…

Will post some shots of attractions later. Everybody knows abt Rome… nothing much to say. Night & Day shots…. There was a night four too by the Bigbus… but no getting down from the bus…

Right… and thank you for the tip… I noticed Tamoil is cheaper this time.

As I was leaving Roma this evening… ran into a police check. Our documents were complete. And myself and the four officers took a few photos together…lol…. Shld I upload some here…😂

The Pompeii Archeological Site at Pompeii, plus a highly memorable stay….

I have recordings of the guide’s narratives… feel free if anyone wants to know more about how Pompeii was destroyed by a volcanic eruption. Pompeii was the first ‘mtg point’ of sncient Greeks & The Roman Empire.

Taken a guided tour for a good explanation and to understand better the disaster at Pompeii…. Tour guide was especially friendly to moi…lol.

Had a truely memorable stay at Castellamare… and had a hard time finding the place plus driving thru the roads there…

This is the Italian ‘ghetto’ ? Pardon the acronym..

Night & Day Views, a motorised shutter opens out to the bslcony…

Hard to find roadside parking but managed to do so by chatting with the locals with a mixture of French & Italienne.. parked right beneath a No-Parking Sign…lol… Car was not broken into… everything was safe. Loved the Italians

The roads were hard to maneuver here. I can’t even call it a one-lane road… but cars run in both directions.

The Coastal Drive from Castellamare - Sorrento - Positano - Amalfi Beach - Salerno… breathtaking, outstanding sceneries, even better than the Dubrovnik Drive made a few weeks ago…

But…

We are tired of coastal road driving… when big tour buses and other parge vehicles have to pass, our driving skills are really put to the test.

We’re in our 2-Bedded Cabin w/ window… signal becomes weaker as we sail further out to sea…. Bound for Messina, Sicily.

Our car was the first onto the Cartour Delta, registered at Bari on the eastern coast of Italy Mainland…

Edited by adding one more prominent clip, showing the climb onto Deck 5 of the Cartour Delta… windshield is wet… has been raining since 9 am this morning.

Set sail at sharp 1.30 pm Italy time…

Signals became weaker as the Cartour Delta sails further out to sea before turning portside to head for Messina….

The sea is choppy today… it’s been raining since 9 am this morning. We are now on the Tyrrhenian Sea. Don’t if I’m imagining things… the sea looks closer than when we were at port… “lots of water now”….
