Finding the best deal for re_fuelling…
1) Use Waze to identify the best-priced station for Benzene. In my experience here, it’s Tamoil..
2) Set Waze to go to station Tamoil.
3) Upon reaching said station, ensure price is as indicated by Waze earlier. If it is, or even lower…identify the right pump point…
4) Re-fuel to the ‘required litre’ and chk amount charged is correct.
5) Print receipt and keep forvreference.

Note : When pumping with a credit card in Italy, EUR 103.29 will be extracted upon pumping. This amt will be consolidated against the actual amt to be charged against the card-user, snd the excess will be credited-in back into the cardholder’s bank acct…

Above is re-fuelling tactic for a Road Trip in Europe. Let me know if there are questions…

I love reading journals like these, but the photo orientation really breaking my neck.

I’m sorry, bro… I tried adjusting everything in the proper orientation, but the image still turns clockwise or anticlockwise at times…

Experienced an accomodation in higher ground tonight in the centre of the ctry, unpaved road leading to the ex-monastery, no streetlights……. Still the WC has been renovated into a modern setting…

Floor is of cement structure…. Freezing….

Tried 2 dinner menus - home-made pasta and steak with beef from Tuscany…. Just so-so….

A further view facing The Salecchio Collezione of pottery from the bedroom…

And a classic window with multiple frame & traditional-styled handles from one of the The Godfather movies. Not too sure about this… but I’ll verify this when I reach Sicily.

Added : The backyard, looks blurred because of the insect-screen. The classic window lets the light in but keeps the cold air out.

This ex-monastery from the 17th-century has been heavily refurbished with diff themes for the rooms…. Showing too the distinctive furnishing style for each room.

This is a great place to experience the monastery-feel, but it is next to impossible to reach here without a car. The bus-stop is at the bottom of the hill.

At Milan earlier, managed to secure two tickets for the final Balcony Seats at the Teatro Alla Scala. Elegant dressing… Ballet dances.. and the highlight : The Bolero Performance.

Lots of names in Italienne… don’t have the presentation piece with me now. It’s in the car… Will insert more later… line’s bad here in the central region.

Some further inputs from the Teatro Alla Scala… one thing noticed was there were many Carabinieries around the teatro, before & after the performance. Patrol vans with blue sirens flashing around… wondered why….

The Bolero performance was great.

Yesterday….San Marino is a small independant state inside Italy…

Uses the EURO, fuel is cheapest here I’ve seen having driven over a few countries in Europe this trip. For Benzene, EUR 1.57/litre at one station. San Marino is the capital city with govt offices there. High up in the hills… sunny, many tourists from Italy & I heard Russian being spoken….

San Marino is to Italy…. what Monaco is to France.

Stayed in the middle of the city, near to ruins…😂…. Parked at a free public carpark right beside a centuries-old stone-structure…
