Actually was intercooler leaking. Some turbo car like volkswagen gti the intercooler inside the intake manifold, once leaked the coolant mix into combustion and start misfire.

There are few cars intercooler got water in it, it is also knew as water cooled intercooler (water-to-air intercooler system).
Early Toyota Celica 4S-GTE engine also use water cooled intercooler.
