Yesterday you put 60.84 in main pocket, didn't put any in savings pocket. Received 1 cent in main pocket, correct?
and today you leave 60.84 in main pocket, while you put 60.84 in each savings pocket. Received 1 cent in each savings pocket but not 1 cent in main pocket, correct?
Then this sort of confirms my suspicions that magic numbers might not work at all.. Cause they go by residual balance..
So if Day 1 (60.84 x 3% /365 = 0.005 = 0.01 interest) gets rounded up.. Your balance now becomes -0.005 actually..
Then Day 2 (60.85 x 3% /365 = 0.005 + (-0.005)= 0.00 interest) it doesn't get rounded up and no interest earned on day 2.
And on Day 3 it will follow Day 1 again and the process starts all over..
What I'm surprised by this is that Ryt choose to "upfront" you the first round up..
anyway will need to wait confirmation from those that put 182.50 in day 1 and received 2 cents, whether their day 2 still receive 2 cents or become 1 cent dy due to the residual balance thing..
It seems like Ryt is smart to use the residual balance method so customers cant use rounding up to earn the extra cents like Gxbank.
Therefore it is pointless to create so many pockets. We just need one pocket and dump rm20k inside to earn the max of 4%.
