I mean seriously, the last time I was there was 1 year ago and they only sold epiphones and SXs and some other cheapo stuff. DIdn't see any gibsons. They hid it inside their store?

Woh Fatt has been the official distributor for Gibson for donkey years...... heck, they even have a picture of a Les Paul for their logo......

Nowadays, they just display their "cheap" wares and hide the Gibsons as they are no longer the distributor for Gibson/Epiphone.

so do they sell any Gibson LP? Who's the official distributor for gibson ?

A Gibson Les Paul Standard is generally in the range of Rm8k+++
(Musician's Friend lists the cheapest with the 60s neck at around USD 2k before taxes).

And as far as I know, no shops in KL currently stocks Gibsons. Beat Spot had a gibson Les Paul Supreme (which did NOT meet my expectations), but it was sold off.

woh fatt has at least 10 gibsons in stock in the glass cabinets above the amps, and a few more in the same row as the strings/picks etc but further down.

Well, I haven't been to Woh Fatt since the stupid Pickup installation, so I wouldn't know.

woh fatt...the glass cabinet on top of the amps has always had gibsons since the beginning of time
mostly the mid-high end LPs and SGs are up there.
at the back is where they put the cheaper gibsons...specials / studios etc.

oh...I never bother to look up. Their price range for Gibson LP is like what blacktrix said? RM8k

yea...second hand...can get LP standards for RM5k.

i myself dont have a single gibson which i bought new...of all my guitars also i only have one which i got brand new...a SX strat SRV copy

There's one Gibson hollow body at the back selling for more than RM11k
