Scenario:
- I'm currently using Time's 600mbps package for many years now, with the contract elapsed long ago.
- Currently, there is a promo for the same package but will give you a newer router, plus a 6 month discount of RM99 per month.
I tried to take that package in the Self Care system, but it only allows upgrading.
Questions:
1. Do I have to cancel my account, then apply again?
2. Scenarios like this happens all the time, where a cheaper package is available for new customers eventually. Is it common for folks to quit and re-apply?
3. Is it better to just talk to Time customer service directly, or accept the services from people that give out fliers (not sure what they are called ... representatives?)
ISP: common to refresh contract for new equipment?
