Any flood issues in that area? Decent surroundings? Is it possible to reduce commute time by using LRT or moto? If that's feasible then u can consider staying there after fixing the house. Otherwise just fix the house to the bare minimum then rent or sell it. Leaving a house empty can become a burden; personal experience. And I'm most definitely not a property agent
