QUOTE(KingArthurVI @ Jul 10 2025, 07:06 PM) Did they finally make the interior bigger? Current (old) CX-5 cannot comfortably fit the more premium child car seats that are slightly bigger in rear-facing config.. the front passenger seat need to push forward Mazda all these while design their cars only for the front driver & passenger, if talk about rear space it is never for adults for long distance. Been hearing a lot of stories after fetch parents out in their Mazda, in the end their parents choose other cars to sit in afterwards. |

QUOTE(jflee169 @ Jul 17 2025, 11:28 AM) Only car in Mazda with better rear space is the CX9. CX8 still got complain also as most people feedback it is only a 6/7 seater version of CX5. ktek liked this post

CX-9 definitely is bigger and roomy than CX-8 for 5+2 (2+3+2).
For CX-8 6 seater (2+2+2), 2nd row with pilot seat has the flexibility to slide back to quite decent legroom. 3rd row is not suitable for adults especially for long distance. The spec without arm-rest at 2nd row will give better leg room for 3rd row passengers. Anyway, everyone has their personal point of view. Just my 2 cents opinion. I was surprised when friend from SG told me that, in terms of perception, Mazda is generally considered a tier below T and H brand. Personally, i prefer the Kodo design language on the 2018 KF ver compare to the later facelift

Ppl's perception is not important, more importantly is, we buy/own what we like and its worth. Never live under "ppl says and ppl's view". It our money, not their money. From experience, been driving T, H, Subaru, Merc and Mazda. In term of handling (from good to not so good), I would rank Subaru, Mazda, Merc, H and T. I sold my S.Forester due to need bigger legroom for rear passenger. Not doubt S.Forester has good legroom but CX8 has it other things I like. Too bad CX-60 Malaysia is not AWD, otherwise plan to replace my CX8. Haha.. QUOTE(cloudwin @ Jul 23 2025, 10:06 AM) amscouzach57 liked this post
