TS, for quartz can go Longines Conquest, or hydroconquest.
for Automatic, can go MIDO multifort TV big date, hamilton khaki, or Tissot PRX, Tissot Gentlemen

Tissot Chrono XL. I bought mine for less than 2K. No complains except for the leather strap it came with. Very easy to smell if you sweat. You can opt for the stainless steel bracelet version if you want.

Hamilton got what good quartz? 5 years ago bought one Khaki King. Not bad. But seldom wear.. 80hours power reserve. Maybe the fella don't want deal with winding. But from the looks, I think only gonna have 1 watch. I don't think will be an issue if automatic. 80hours enough standby if don't wear 1-2 days also. If can accept automatic, I recommend Hamilton Khaki Pilot.

hamilton, mido, tissot. All share same movement and std power reserve is above 75hrs.

So for that i commended them. Its hard to truly pass by such brand unless your just as clueless as fak.

if in order, i would place the citizen same as GS or more as one of their models deviate only 1 sec per year.
*
I heard the 1 sec deviation is only possible if wear 8 or 12 hours every day and 10 sec or 1 sec per year doesn't make much different to me.
Also, GS spec is +10 sec per year so it's very likely less than that.

I rank GS higher because I prefer GS movement and they create a better quartz story compared to Citizen which they have known for Eco Drive and 1 sec accuracy.

Personally, I won't get other brand quartz except for famous model like Hamilton ventura.

Below is a good blog on quartz watch.

The sixty five? god damn it bro now its 12500chf! Thats my grail!

Yeah sixty five. Steel version la not gold. Now about myr60k. Still a lot of money.

No target. Its like just like to see and as I said wishful thinking. If I get to chose I will probably go for alange and sohne. Again all this too rich for my blood.

well at least u stay true to your target and likes. I will never speak of targetting a watch just because the economy says so.

have u seen the 222 ss? haha that is another lower tier vc lol

If lange im guessing the saxonia? as same price. i mean to rich people 10k 20k whats there to count lol

Unfortunately, the lower swiss and mid swiss are not making so much on vintage look or something like pp/trinity. i mean everyone probably loose their mind over 3940 but the odd one 5040 is quite the charm. Probably another life time lmao.

I have to live with an unknown brand watch that looks similarly like the 1960s calatrava but without the second dial just to get some feel about it.

Yeah I like the saxonia thin. White dial. Also I like calatrava.

As you pointed out I have to live with the likes of Saxonia and calatrava look alike distance cousin which is nomos orion. Hahahha.

Then by all means get the auto. No point buying something that will regret immediately and buying quartz just prolong the auto purchase. Also high accuracy quartz not suitable as collection starter unless it's the only watch few years down the road.

Btw VC 56 entry have Cartier movement.

No didn't get that old big crown pointer date.
My main go to is dial and hands.

The modern one compliment my sarb017 also cathedral hand. Just non sunburst dial.

And it's green too

well its a good thing people share their view and the watches.

Then by all means get the auto. No point buying something that will regret immediately and buying quartz just prolong the auto purchase. Also high accuracy quartz not suitable as collection starter unless it's the only watch few years down the road.

Btw VC 56 entry have Cartier movement.
*
I think more accurately being produced by the richemont group. still the privilege of having such a cheap entry for vc.

but i agree on ur view towards quartz. puzzled me too. like you already tasted the best of swiss cheese and insisted there is no other and proceeds to buy beqa cheese. still cheese but urggh.

This is the first Swiss watch I bought right after SPM after my first ever job working at Metrojaya during its 10? Day Sale.
IINM it was less than $1000.
Now, OMG $7750? Totally not worth it. What the actual F. Makes me regret not taking care of it. 😆

Back to simplicity to quartz and dressy ones.

I think we have same taste lol.

Yeah I like the saxonia thin. White dial. Also I like calatrava.

As you pointed out I have to live with the likes of Saxonia and calatrava look alike distance  cousin which is nomos orion. Hahahha.
*
Well i do appreciate any good vintage watch and regret to even browse a brand progress such as say IWC.

i particularly love the cal 89, then their perpetual or even the odd case tonneau da vincci.

but when it comes to dress watch, yes a mix of the grail would be a good alternative since its just too ridiculous getting one during this life time.

i mean if i were a bum, eating only samples from the mall and by luck i have speedo underwear which i can conveniently swim my ass up for casual destressing and bathing, i will just settled on the late pope associated watch from casio before he gave it to his friend.

but no, we have choices everywhere and i happened to have one ridiculous asshole friend who love quartz just because he cant afford the real thing. lol. talking about decent compromise.

i do feel wrong when you always talk about the higher end swiss and how it is a grail or even to the point of annual event and gets excited for any good news from the swiss industry. Yet, despite all that my fren come to conclusion a swiss quartz is sufficient for now.

Dei tambi, mq-24 and f91 from casio already enough to see you from alive to dead.

I have f91 for disposal.

It's good for outdoor and racing activity
I wouldn't want to scratch my other shiny watch 😜

Also it's boring always talk subs and other common swiss watch. A funky quartz is a good opening topic to kickstart ice breaking

have u seen the f91 ps1 concept? god damn it looks good. i dont even mind they take out the logo and maintain the color.

anyway yeah, the f91 is a must have. it doesnt matter u have vc,pp,lange or even the swiss cheese, you must have f91 at any time. or any disposable casio that is.

sometimes being ignorant is good, but not when ur mussing out the really good option where it is available anytime to you.

I do agree. Probably JLC true second is a good conversation starter. But then again, not many understand the geophysic is not quartz lmao until they saw the movement.

Nice fully grey.

I have CasiOak with similar grey out.
