Tissot Chrono XL. I bought mine for less than 2K. No complains except for the leather strap it came with. Very easy to smell if you sweat. You can opt for the stainless steel bracelet version if you want. ridox_orimabu liked this post

QUOTE(Doomsday @ Jun 25 2025, 03:14 PM) Credor got so many quartz to choose from . Hamilton got what good quartz? 5 years ago bought one Khaki King. Not bad. But seldom wear.. 80hours power reserve. Maybe the fella don't want deal with winding. But from the looks, I think only gonna have 1 watch. I don't think will be an issue if automatic. 80hours enough standby if don't wear 1-2 days also. If can accept automatic, I recommend Hamilton Khaki Pilot. But my liking maybe is not your liking. Also grand Seiko quartz also good way to start. If swiss, Hamilton jer... Affordable and good |

QUOTE(yvliew @ Jun 25 2025, 03:19 PM) Hamilton got what good quartz? 5 years ago bought one Khaki King. Not bad. But seldom wear.. 80hours power reserve. Maybe the fella don't want deal with winding. But from the looks, I think only gonna have 1 watch. I don't think will be an issue if automatic. 80hours enough standby if don't wear 1-2 days also. If can accept automatic, I recommend Hamilton Khaki Pilot. hamilton, mido, tissot. All share same movement and std power reserve is above 75hrs. So for that i commended them. Its hard to truly pass by such brand unless your just as clueless as fak. |

QUOTE(ridox_orimabu @ Jun 25 2025, 02:03 PM) if in order, i would place the citizen same as GS or more as one of their models deviate only 1 sec per year. I heard the 1 sec deviation is only possible if wear 8 or 12 hours every day and 10 sec or 1 sec per year doesn't make much different to me.Also, GS spec is +10 sec per year so it's very likely less than that. I rank GS higher because I prefer GS movement and they create a better quartz story compared to Citizen which they have known for Eco Drive and 1 sec accuracy. Personally, I won't get other brand quartz except for famous model like Hamilton ventura. Below is a good blog on quartz watch. Quartz watch The Citizen meme. QUOTE(Doomsday @ Jun 26 2025, 11:19 AM) I have f91 for disposal. have u seen the f91 ps1 concept? god damn it looks good. i dont even mind they take out the logo and maintain the color. It's good for outdoor and racing activity I wouldn't want to scratch my other shiny watch 😜 Also it's boring always talk subs and other common swiss watch. A funky quartz is a good opening topic to kickstart ice breaking anyway yeah, the f91 is a must have. it doesnt matter u have vc,pp,lange or even the swiss cheese, you must have f91 at any time. or any disposable casio that is. sometimes being ignorant is good, but not when ur mussing out the really good option where it is available anytime to you. I do agree. Probably JLC true second is a good conversation starter. But then again, not many understand the geophysic is not quartz lmao until they saw the movement. |

QUOTE(ridox_orimabu @ Jun 26 2025, 11:17 AM) i do feel wrong when you always talk about the higher end swiss and how it is a grail or even to the point of annual event and gets excited for any good news from the swiss industry. Yet, despite all that my fren come to conclusion a swiss quartz is sufficient for now. Got high quality and beautiful watches that run on quartz too.Dei tambi, mq-24 and f91 from casio already enough to see you from alive to dead. Entry level swiss like hammy, tissot, can get a nice quartz under 2k. |
