if in order, i would place the citizen same as GS or more as one of their models deviate only 1 sec per year.

I heard the 1 sec deviation is only possible if wear 8 or 12 hours every day and 10 sec or 1 sec per year doesn't make much different to me.
Also, GS spec is +10 sec per year so it's very likely less than that.

I rank GS higher because I prefer GS movement and they create a better quartz story compared to Citizen which they have known for Eco Drive and 1 sec accuracy.

Personally, I won't get other brand quartz except for famous model like Hamilton ventura.

Below is a good blog on quartz watch.

pass 10 sec a year, like what does it matter already right? im an accuracy freak, still i found the normal quartz is sufficient.

My friend probably too big ball to admit he want an omega auto but cant so getting superquartz is the answer.

But thanks for sharing. i like the citizen more than gs. but i like vintage gs more than the modern the citizen. esp 44gs.

Then by all means get the auto. No point buying something that will regret immediately and buying quartz just prolong the auto purchase. Also high accuracy quartz not suitable as collection starter unless it's the only watch few years down the road.

Btw VC 56 entry have Cartier movement.
