Oh, so now the government is expected to do everything in-house like we have a magic wand? Private companies are here because they should be they’re vendors, not saviors. But let’s not act like the government can’t run without them.

Yes, we use private contractors. You know why?
Because unlike your private sector world where profits rule, the government has to balance quality, fairness, and regulation. We don’t just hand out deals to the highest bidder we follow checks and balances that you’d never understand in your tight little MNC bubble.

The roads? Sure, we contract it out.
The uniforms, cars, and guns? Yep, sometimes we buy from the private sector.
But let’s not kid ourselves. The government is still the one making sure these businesses don’t overcharge, underdeliver, or exploit the rakyat.

Meanwhile, private companies jack up their prices to maximize profits, while demanding “efficiency” from workers like they own their souls.
It’s not about government doing it all it’s about ensuring accountability, something your precious private sector still doesn’t guarantee.

You think we don’t need them?
That’s cute.
But trust me if the government could just wave a magic wand and fix every problem, you’d still complain. Because at the end of the day, you'd find something else to cry about, like how the "quality" of work suddenly isn’t up to your standards.

So go ahead. Keep pretending like private companies are the real backbone of society. But when it’s time for accountability and fairness, it’s the government that has to step in — not your overpriced consultants and corrupt middlemen.
*
Hello, private sector bidding process more stringent than the government lol. We comply to international standards, not teh tarik syiok sendiri standards..

Private companies not backbone of society, that's a given. We're the backbone of the economy. While you fucks sleep during work and after work, private sector still hum along to ensure you guys can wake up the next day knowing your pension still has a value roflol.

I used to thought civil servant having good benefits of work life balance and pensions until found out they do not even have 1 month annual bonus.

With multi months bonus and share options in private sector, one actually can retire way earlier compare to civil servant. Trade off is tougher job and heavier workload

You think private sector give bonus? Unlike Govt sector you get like Raya incentives, one time bonus handouts in private sector you don't even get a SEN!

The boss will tell you so you want to keep your job? Pray I will still give you job or else you'll be fired.

Take annual leave must be at least 1-2 months in advanced or else consider emergency leaves.

You think this is Singapore? Compulsory 13-month if you work for a year?

I got annual bonus btw 3.5 to 7 months. Cash out 700k++ from employee share option.

Annual leave need 1-2months notice? U lived in cave that the leave application need so long to reach supervisor for approval? Now use eleave, auto approve in 3 days if manager no disagreement

Free to "look" but not guaranteed ya your employment with the intensity of competition today.

Anyone can talk BS like your claims until you show your payslip. Or you're just from those elite segment blowing water in a public forum.

Your previous tone defending public sector civil staffs suddenly took a turn and now you're bragging private sector bonus payouts?

Get your talk straight would ya?

No way! Private sector workers are the worst!

They are scum of the earth!

Gov workers are the best! Gov should give more benefits and better pay to them!
