Instead of further away from cpu, the designated occupation is closer to cpu.
I will install the double sided m.2 on the second slot as it is slightly further away from gpu, but still has the bottom thermal pad.

Weird, I always thought workstation mobos like this Treadripper has many banks of RAM typically past X299 you see 6-8 RAM slots but here only 4 slots, same like normal Ryzen mobos.
This is low end TR system? |
