My only time using that road from KB to Grik was 20 years ago.

I recalled the stretch within Kelantan is in bad condition, the stones on the tarmac were very rough. As soon as I crossed into Perak boundary, the road condition improved tremendously, very smooth to drive.

In between, I also stopped with several other cars to let a giant elephant cross the road in total darkness.
