QUOTE

Based on dashcam, he did good not to roll the bus over the barrier or even hit it. He actually swerved and only rested on the left side of the bus. RIP

QUOTE(ts1 @ Jun 10 2025, 12:08 PM)
you already in very fast speed then lose brake

imagine if u drive slow and brake failure, u still got time to change to lower gear may help
*
statement already say turun bukit, already said he elak 4 vehicles before crashing.

now we can just blame the bus owner for not servicing the brake.
or just blame Ah Loke, sebab boleh dik

how?

shift low gear.

that still doesn't work for heavy vehicles cruising down hill
Read Newton's 3 law of motion

QUOTE(alanyuppie @ Jun 10 2025, 12:16 PM)
If he didn't comment    stuff like "grateful I'm alive/fine + details on own health conditions".. I would've believed his excuse about brake failures causing bus unstoppable.

very strong "saving own ass" vibe there  and attempt to "divert" attention from the lives lost by emphasizing his own  injuries.
*
i don't doubt brake/mechanical failure since even the student said they smell something burning

QUOTE(quintesson @ Jun 10 2025, 12:19 PM)
This case I'm perplexed why there are people supported and pity the lorry driver?
*
because people solely blame the driver
instead of the failure in maintaining the vehicles by the owner

driver also said in the article, brake not working, gear also cant change.

too many coincidences, but its a recipe for disaster.

lets see the forensics report.
*
i posted a video above saying the students smell something burning before the crash (bau hangit)
and the driver is huyung hayang (swerving)

QUOTE(Najibaik @ Jun 10 2025, 12:32 PM)
this melayu statement gave me cancer by just reading it
so this is the shit melayu keep asking non to speak?

btw RIP to the victims
and charge this motherfakmi to court
*
This is short form messaging,
with a bit of local accent and English

Tiba tiba brek kosong,
tekan brek tak jadi apa dah
sebab tu nampak laju
bukan nak laju
tapi bas tengah turun bukit
saya (kawe) alhamdulillah ada di hospital Taiping
Esok operate tangan, tergores (soyok) kena cermin
Itu pun dah usaha elak kereta beralih (hok) mana dah elak
Last last tak boleh nak buat apa apa dah
Tawakkal je terbalik

I don't speak Kelantan regularly but I can understand them well
It is not hard to read, honestly
This is obviously a snippet from an interview with the driver
I assume the one asking is speaking in the same dialect.

No choice. Now hire all those rempit type oso no use. Every week accident.

I support the increase in bus fares to hire better drivers
*
then hire who?

are you willing to pay them a better salary?
are you willing to see bus company bungkus because of operational cost?
will you be the one who is complaining there is no bus service?
