Got info from Prius C owner club member:
"Need to reset Hybrid battery. Two location cable yellow color to be removed. One: at engin side (front bonet) and two: at back (around spare tyre area).
Reinstate back, the cable, and try to start engine again.

Never done this myself. But this what I got back in 2021 when I had the same issue.
Managed to start the wmengine normally and drove it to SC.
No issue until now, thank god.

Either hybrid battery or inverter gone case. Either one is equally expensive.

Replaced the aux battery IF not mistaken.
My hybrid battery was exchanged (during warranty) after 6 years of usage. At the time I had to pay RM350 for battery replacment service charge while the hybrid battery is warranty replacement.

How frequent to replace the 12v battery?

Based on your hybrid battery history, 2nd replacement is around the corner, or still no sign of failure?

Saw ABS pump failure is common for Prius, is that true?

the aux 12v battery can last for sometime, approx more than 5-6 years
can try jumping with a jump starter
or replace with another aux batt

damn this car has given 5 star service with that odometer

ABS Failure on my case is basically speed sensor failure on my bearing hub (rear side). So, what I did was replacing both bearing hub (rear) and no more ABS warning during driving.

Yes, the ABS Pump is the most famous among Prius C, and quite expwnsive to replcae. But the failure rate is around 5-8 yearly depending on driving style I assume and other small factors related.

Use obd reader to read the fault code see whether is hv battery or inverter, thats prius screen. Temp fix is clear the fault and probably few drives only come back if battery at borderline

Battery new from SC 7k, refurbished around 3k-5k, China oem round battery depends 7-8k
Or if you know electrical sendiri read the failure code, see which battery bank, and replace the battery catridge, caution is you're dealing with 2xx DC voltage, so safety is paramount(1 cartridge around 1xx-3xx) and
rebalance the pack(if not mistaken got 22 cartridges) , need find donor battery. Usual fault is the middle catridges because of heat accumulation there

If inverter check with SC see can warranty or not, unofficial not listed the warranty I think was 15 years? Subject to SC willingness and service history.

Haibrids 290k just be thankful it is still running. I will never touch a haibrid or EV. ICE until I dai.

Got Toyota Corolla Cross ma, same engine and battery, but the FC not as good. The 12V battery is regular lead acid, no need the damn expensive AGM.

Godsent milage for town usage.

At 8 year the service centre said the battery will die soon, but since I have been servicing regularly, they replaced mine FOC.
