Inb4 macai DAP say Petronas is tongkat GLC should fire more people Also, Najib already implemented GST and floating petrol price to reduce the reliance to oil & Petronas so that the company has enough money to build sustainable income. But no.... PH 1.0 and 2.0 say Petronas is rich can give more dividend to cover all the expense of government like more budget for Jakim This post has been edited by bashlyner: Jun 8 2025, 10:08 AM MishimaZ, Pepelepewwwww, and 17 others liked this post

QUOTE(zerorating @ Jun 8 2025, 11:26 AM) its the ong industry are the one that invest heavily in reneweable energy industry. diversification is important. Invest heavily doesn’t mean they r balls deep into REThere are other agendas behind the scene which you don’t see on surface First and foremost, OnG companies are under heavy scrutiny and pressure from regulators and governments to reduce their carbon footprint due to the Whatever climate accords which they have partake….. and nullified soon after Secondly they need to get certain tax breaks which can be a significant portion to their finances, they also need the carbon credits to sustain their operation l, hence the rebranding and shit … u see total rebranding themselves as Total “Energyâ€, Shell and Mubadala all followed suit… they are dropping the OnG image. Like I said a lot of these companies are merely putting a sideshow for the public. More than meets the eye |

The move is expected to exacerbate a market surplus amid weakening demand driven by escalating US-China trade tensions. Crude oil prices plunged to a multi-year low following OPEC+’s decision to accelerate production hikes for June. During Monday’s Asian session, Brent futures slumped as much as 4.6% to $58.50 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate futures dropped nearly 5% to $55.53 per barrel at a point, both at their lowest levels since February 2021. https://www.euronews.com/business/2025/05/0...ction-hikes#:~: QUOTE WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is emphasizing that targeting Russia’s oil revenue is the best way to get Moscow to end its nearly three-year war against Ukraine. Trump, who pledged in the campaign that he’d broker a quick end to the grinding conflict, in his first days in office has leaned in on the idea that OPEC+, the alliance of oil producing nations, holds the key to ending the war by reducing oil prices. The president on Friday renewed his call on the group of oil producing exporters, led by Saudi Arabia, to reduce the price of oil. It’s a move he says would bleed Russia of much needed revenue to pay for the conflict and force Vladimir Putin to reconsider the war. “One way to stop it quickly is for OPEC to stop making so much money,†Trump told reporters. “So, OPEC ought to get on the ball and drop the price of oil. And that war will stop right away.†https://apnews.com/article/trump-russia-oil...0cea277096d330d kesimpulan: Wumaos little pinks PH fags - their brain are inherently flawed |

QUOTE(danielmckey @ Jun 8 2025, 11:35 AM) No offence, it's not PETRONAS 20 years ago. Today's world is full of problem in one go & closest to each other problem like virus, war, natural disaster, etc. This will continue in many decades ahead... Good luck. Puak bodo Puas and PeeN and Doomno. Comparing to najib time. Today we got what? Just came out of Covid....never ending MCO, then Russia-Ukraine war, then tariff war that we have never witnessed since world war 2. I would love to see how PM Hadie handles this, again his cohorts will blame concert, beer and vernacular again. |

Also, Najib already implemented GST and floating petrol price to reduce the reliance to oil & Petronas so that the company has enough money to build sustainable income. But no.... of course blame the major shareholder... which is gov of malaysia rite?
we kept on hearing stories like how petronas staffs all get super high bonuses like exceed 1 year... so all it has to do is to cut bonus down to 0 months.... and there is no need to fire anyone.... and stop extending the retirement age or giving out contracts to those retiring... these are the most expensive of the cronies... |

You can ask people that work in the O&G industry how working with Petronas is..I got work with them before for a Feasibility study project for 1 year and really facepalm
Out of 10 ppl, only 2-3 really doing work the rest all gaji buta..simple technical questions/updates also they can’t answer and expect vendor to settle. So not surprise they are trimming their workforce now..10% really conservative should be 30% gone lol.. The only reason Petronas is surviving is because of PDA and mandate from government if not lama sudah tapau |

Vendors handle the bulk of operations. This isn’t just limited to one company it’s the same with big names like U Mobile, CelcomDigi, and Maxis. On top of that, a lot of people get hired through referrals rather than open application. Oil and gas is so profitable that sometimes it feels like the business runs itself even when they hire people who don’t seem to know what they’re doingOut of 10 ppl, only 2-3 really doing work the rest all gaji buta..simple technical questions/updates also they can’t answer and expect vendor to settle. Everytime I see petronas staff high bonus or high pay. Cannot stop thinking the oil money just few hundred KMs outside my kampung being blindly channel to these guys.
I think better let Sarawak manage oil money from 2025 onward. Petronas siphoned enough. |

Trust me, you don't want tosiapa tak mau... owai QUOTE(tifosi @ Jun 8 2025, 11:40 AM) That's the reason why I gave up the green lanyard. 0 growth - you don't learn anything, everything subcon out, full of bureaucracy and everything is on snail speed. If it's for a retirement job, definitely good place to be. That being said, it's still probably the better GLC out there. Wait till you deal with the likes of TNB or TM. blmse92 liked this post

QUOTE(bashlyner @ Jun 8 2025, 10:05 AM) Inb4 macai DAP say Petronas is tongkat GLC should fire more people Need to add that DAP and their bajingans are the one who claimed their government can absorb all financial burden to provide fuel at RM1/liter as well. Also, Najib already implemented GST and floating petrol price to reduce the reliance to oil & Petronas so that the company has enough money to build sustainable income. But no.... PH 1.0 and 2.0 say Petronas is rich can give more dividend to cover all the expense of government like more budget for Jakim |
