I am more concerned about what kind of contamination that is now leached into oceans that it's going into enter into marine life and we end up eating such contamination indirectly.

That ship only had 70 pure EV and 600 hybrids. But the fire caused by lithium batteries. Imagine those byd super size ships carrying tens of thousands of pure EVs in future

Our human waste got toxic heavy metals, no right ? Salt can neutralize heavy metals meh ? If can, then how come got research papers by universities indicate that kupang hijau has the highest levels of toxic metals detected in them ?

Nobody really knows what caused this ship fire. All speculation. Just like the 2023 MV Freemantle Highway ship fire quickly blamed on EVs. But after the ship was brought back to shore, all the EVs were found to be intact.
There has been much speculation that the battery pack from an electric car caused the fire, but this proved to be wrong when offloading the ship. Around 1,000 cars were recovered in essentially good condition - among them all the 498 electrical cars which were on board the ship. However, the cause of the fire is unknown. Investigations started when the ship was moored in Eemshaven.

My colleague from Thailand is calling this ev zero carbon thing bullshit. She is from chiangmai area. This is what she said
1. Near Cambodia border. China is doing some mining in rear earth thingy and contaminated the river inthailand. Fish mutated. Now the citizen are furious with their gov
2. All the big batteries cannot be recycled. And Japan will obly take back batteries that are produce by Japanese car. Good luck for other cars

Except that she's an ignorant idiot.
1. NCM and LFP batteries don't use any rare earth metals at all. If you say the EV's motor needs rare earth metals, that's correct. But so many devices in the world also contain rare-earth metals especially motors including ICE cars, planes and even hard disks, so why blame on EVs alone?
2. All EV batteries can be recycled, especially by China. But stupid Thai people maybe don't know how to do it.

some scientists mentioned we need to eat a bit of dirt or toxic so that the immune system get used to it, some says chinese emperor will eat a little bit amount of mecury, arsenic trioxide to get used to it, so when they got poison, they will survive :X
