QUOTE(derthvadar @ Aug 23 2025, 04:36 PM) nah i would pick rx9000 series over any 6000 or 7000 series just for the fsr4. fsr frame generation is good and usable but pre-fsr4 upsampling is not great for big desktop monitors (it can look fine on 7-8" handhelds. fsr4 image quality is the standard to go for |

For me DLSS CNN is like the minimum required to be used for normal desktop monitor. DLSS transformer is still superior though.Yeah DLSS CNN sometimes can have flickering and ghosting issues but it literally solves anti-aliasing issues for me, especially DLSS transformer at quality setting or straight on DLAA are at the level of supersamplings. the flickering (MSAA) and blurriness (FXAA and TAA) on old tech anti-aliasing is eye-noying as hell. |

QUOTE(Quantum Geist @ Aug 23 2025, 08:06 PM) DLSS and FSR4 both still rely on temporal/time right? still get smears like TAA, although to a lesser degree. I personally like MSAA over any temporal AA solutions. MSAA is unusable to me especially games that have alot of leaves and foliages, flickering like crazy. It was fine in old times because game world has less stuffs inside due to technical limitations. And smearing on DLSS is alot less than TAA, I don't like smearing on TAA too, but it's way less noticeable on DLSS and ghosting is more prevalent. But I always force DLSS transformer now that fixes alot of the smearing issue the CNN had. This post has been edited by terradrive: Aug 23 2025, 08:16 PM |

QUOTE(MamulaMoon @ Aug 23 2025, 08:22 PM) Seller told me 5060ti more stable and less issues compared to RX9060XT, thats why 5060Ti more expensive well for starter, gb206 is harder to cool, either get a card with 4 heat pipe or 3 big pipe or 3 fan cooler. Is he telling the truth? boleh percaya? driver related issue are pretty much mostly addressed. |
