this article is not aimed at men who are conscious and willing to spend on their partner(s).

women are getting more brainwashed by consumerism
imagine themselves to be a princess
they deserved to be pamper and satisfied
this phenomenon is not natural
but a way for consumerism to exert a control

In the 80s era
western starts the propaganda
saying beauty is the capital!
encourage them to buy branded products and follow the trend
till the 21st century
the consumerism spreads till China
the message is a weapon to control the masses
hence a lot of bombs being dropped
one of the ways is meaningful-day celebration
from white valentine to goddess day...
...the first cup of milk tea in autumn
these days are designed precisely and glamorously

At first
the propaganda is equally spread among men and women
but soon realizing
men are not easily hooked
hence, women became the main focus instead
increasing the sales day and advertising
they equate putting effort = spending money on women
slowing increasing the standard of these meaningful days

the image of the princess has been amplified
they start another bomb
being spent onto, means being loved as a woman
eventhough women start to willingly spend on themselves
but the limitation of an average woman income
It makes the tactic shifts to men side
they drop the massive bombs
men are responsible to raise family
women are responsible to look pretty
they shift the willingness of spending onto men
If you love her, you should send gifts
spending onto her it's a love language
in order to seek female validation, men start to do so
hence the loop between men and women has already started

It's a conspiracy
but men and women couldn't help themselves
In the eyes of it
an average woman has been elevated to a princess
an average man has been demoted to a loser
the inequality artificial separation between both genders
hence women think they deserve to be treated properly in material sense
their mating standards have become increasingly high
only tall rich handsome one-package- guy are their ideal
but these top tier men don't even treat these women seriously
they want them for short gratification
hence a fast car driver, could influence women mating perspective
and their peer pressure starts kicking in
the butterfly effect of "eyes high hands low"
according to the research in China
there are over 100 million amois they are over 30s and still single
this is eye opening and frightening at the same time

an average man has no place in an average woman heart
the big environment encourages women should feel more independent
but in an unseen way, it shapes them to be more self centered
fantasizing material pursuits that do not match their own reality...

Woke culture ler tu. Sekejap mau equal rights with men, sekejap mau jadi princess. Diorang mau jadi lelaki ker mau jadi perempuan is totally dependent on when it will benefit them at that moment. Again, semua ni salah lelaki yang gatal

China is facing a really massive problem and there is no resolution. But other countries are similar too.

The men in China have rejected marriage and dating altogether. And the women do not understand what's wrong.

It seems like the issue is being generalized toward women, with an emphasis placed primarily on spending. However, I'd like to expand the discussion to a broader perspective: over-spending is certainly a problem, but excessive frugality — the refusal to spend when appropriate — is also harmful.

This concern was already addressed almost 1,500 years ago by Yan Zhitui (531–591 CE) — a scholar, official, and moralist who served multiple Chinese dynasties: Liang, Northern Qi, Northern Zhou, and Sui. His timeless message remains strikingly relevant even in today’s context:

“节俭是美德的共有部分,奢侈是大恶。但如果节俭过头就成了吝啬,奢侈过头就成了浪费。读书人的行为,最贵在把握中庸节度。”

"Frugality is a shared virtue; extravagance is a great vice. Yet excessive frugality becomes stinginess, while excessive extravagance turns into waste. For a gentleman, the noblest conduct lies in balanced moderation."— Yan Zhitui

From this quote, we can see that even in ancient times, people recognized the dangers of both excessive frugality and excessive extravagance:

Excessive Frugality (过俭为吝): Stinginess Breeds Resentment

• Within Family
Yan Zhitui warns that being overly stingy with one’s spouse, children, or household members creates emotional distance. Loved ones may feel unloved, neglected, or undervalued.
He emphasizes that even a frugal person must know when and how to spend — especially on education, basic comfort, and meaningful rituals.

• Among Friends & Social Circles
Stinginess damages one’s reputation. A gentleman who hoards wealth may lose the respect of his peers, being seen as selfish, untrustworthy, or emotionally cold.

• Impact on Legacy
A stingy parent may pass down a culture of fear and scarcity, rather than abundance and virtue — leading their children to either grow up miserly or rebel with reckless spending.

Excessive Extravagance (过侈为奢): Waste Weakens Foundations

• Within Family
Overspending leads to financial instability. Yan Zhitui cautions that raising children in luxury can make them entitled, fragile, and unable to endure hardship.
He advocates moderation, so that children inherit both the means and the character to live stable, grounded lives.

• Social Image
Extravagant people may attract envy and false flattery, but not genuine respect. Others may stay close only for personal gain — not loyalty.
The cost of status is often loneliness and eventual decline.

• Moral Degradation
A life of luxury fosters vanity and pride — traits that compromise the Confucian gentleman's moral integrity. It also desensitizes one from the struggles of the less fortunate.

What Yan Advocates Instead
“士君子之行,贵乎中节。”
"The conduct of a gentleman lies in balanced moderation."

• Spend with discernment, not impulse.
• Give with heart, not just money.
• Maintain dignity without arrogance, and frugality without bitterness.

~

It's not just about consumerism. Consumerism is only one side of the problem — it encourages over-spending, materialism, and emotional dependence on buying.

But on the other side lies excessive frugality — the refusal to spend even when appropriate, which breeds emotional distance, resentment, and inherited scarcity mindsets.

Both extremes are harmful. One feeds the illusion that love must be bought; the other withholds warmth in the name of virtue.

True wisdom lies in balanced discernment — knowing when to spend, when to save, and why it matters.

The matter is,
most people spend under pressure, they don't have a correct and clear path way of thinking. If someone spends because he or she craves external validation from the opposite sex, it can be a huge problem. Because the underline message is, "I'm not good enough...the only chip I have is just money I don't have other advantages to attract or keep you"

they purposely close the market so that on surface it makes customers think it's a scarce resource, however it may not be. There are so many resources being held by the superiors now that we average citizens do not know

once they unleash to the market they will earn the biggest earnings because of these stupid sheep effect

Consumeism is just one of the components that ruined society through females. Feminism and equality also caused untold damage.
Now women earn more than guys and are looking for more well off guys to lavish them with riches.
Mana mau dapat ?

From "women only train coaches" to "equal prize money" in Grand Slam tennis. Where men play best of 5, while women only play best of 3.

It’s okay to spend —
Spend within what you earn.
Spend intentionally and purposefully.
Spend on yourself, on your loved ones, and on your family.

Earn 100, spend less than 100.
Earn 1,000, spend less than 1,000.
Earn 10,000, spend less than 10,000.
Earn 100,000, spend less than 100,000.

Use the resources you’ve earned to enrich your life experiences.
Otherwise — what are you working so hard for?
To watch digits grow in your bank account?
Do those digits grow your life experience as well?

Time passes in the blink of an eye.
Earning is one part of life experience.
Spending wisely to explore and enjoy life is another.

If we don’t allow ourselves to experience the life that our earnings afford us, isn’t that a kind of quiet regret?

So spend within your means to enrich your life —
not beyond your means to impress others.
