KUALA LUMPUR: The body of a man was found at a construction site in Bangsar today.

Brickfields district police chief Assistant Commissioner Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood said the identity of the deceased has yet to be confirmed, and investigations are ongoing.

"A body has indeed been found, but it has not yet been verified whether it is that of the British man who was recently reported missing.

"Investigations are still underway, and the Fire and Rescue Department is currently working to retrieve the body," he said when contacted today.

Earlier, the media reported that a British man was reported missing after he was last seen near the Bangsar area on May 27.

The 25-year-old's disappearance was noticed by his family when they were unable to reach him by phone and observed that his social media accounts had been inactive.

Really have to view all the CCTV to find out what happen if it happened to be him. Travelling alone and got tangled with the wrong group of buddies?

Bukit Pantai is the rich area, Bangsar Baru is Middle Class, then Lucky Garden not so affluent...
Then you have Brickfields, Pantai Dalam nearby...

Bangsar/PJ area anehs probably waiting in suspense now to find out who amongst them will be picked as scape goat for this.

High profile case, can’t just say ‘we have no suspects’.
