I know house reno by some contractors need to take 2-3 months even though everything need cash upfront.

When I bought my house and did my reno, I was expecting my contractors to focus everyday at my house, but what I got is that they'll go missing a few days, then, come back do a bit and then go missing again.

That's why you pay contractors by progress claim.

But yes, generally our site progress is very slow...often citing manpower shortage.
