LPR in PBJ only detect 50% of the time. The other times it can't detect, then you have to pay cash manually at machine

At this age especially post covid still need physical parking tickets is quite dumb.

Even KLIA parking more advance.

this is a loophole. the drivers can go to the entrance and get a new ticket to avoid paying the old ticket.

This is about a female lose her ticket due to her own mistake but yet complain as if its not her fault

The mall uses paper ticket is up to them, you dont like can go pavilion kl or pavilion dh where they accept tng

Then its LPR problem.. But the system with ticket is too oldschool for today standard..

While he's stupid, I do agree ticketing system is outdated in this era.

One day I just wish we can have LPR integrated with RFID or something so don't even need to wind down and tap the card at all.

Singapore been practising that since aeons ago.

sgp can do this because it has a strong gov. when the gov forced the installation in-car card reader to every car, you know it's gonna be the country standard. all electronic parking lots have follow the gov's protocols

the in-car unit isn't perfect too, my car get stuck sometimes due to card reading error. if this happens, you have to try another card or open your car window to stick the card into the machine. this can happen like 1 in 10 times

if you say rfid, then maybe people will make noise, cannot detect lah, old tag, never replace lah. some cars refuse (or too lazy) to install. without customer compliance, the shopping malls can never adopt it. for this to work, it has to be driven by the gov so that there is a 'standard' to follow. but doing this affects many stakeholders. so it's not easy for the gov to just shove it down to everyone's throats.

just be glad that you can tap your visa/mastercard at toll booths. in bangkok, you have to pay cash like it's the 1990's

en conclusión, small country easier to manage.

Mine have ticket + car plate system, pay via apps but need ticket when exit, there is a few pavilion not aure if u refer to pavilion bkt jalil

RFID cannot leh..I use RFID for tolls but looking how they didnt increase the booth for RFID and focus on paywave instead already feel like RFID is failed project.. Not to mention how not reliable the system itself here.
