Never use a screen protector or case since Iphone 3GS so not gonna start now. I want to be able to see that sexy bright orange in my hands. Quite pissed that Malaysia version doesn't have an e-sim only version as I am an e-sim user and prefers the larger battery for a 39 hours total battery life that was marketed but alas now my 17PM can only lasts for 33 hours I guess since I confirmed it with the staff yesterday that we are not getting the e-sim only version such a buzzkill damn

I got an offer of RM3,075 trade in value for my 15PM. I wonder where I can get the highest possible

My phone has been naked ever since my Iphone 3GS lol never got into all this fiasco of paying extra for a tempered glass & a case as I bought the phone for the color and the beautiful screen with all the coating apple have placed on it. Such a waste to hide its form and function which is why I always go naked

Is the trade in value 2725 or?

Been using ios26 since 24th July and loving it. You're in for a treat for sure!

Yeah I'm on the final build now before official Release. I don't think I can ever go back to ios18 anymore after experiencing Liquid Glass and all of its enhancements during make me forget about getting a pixel as my 2nd phone due to that beautiful UI and premium OS feeling that ios26 brings to the table. I am reminded again of how awestruck I was back during the Iphone 3GS Release and that same feeling of holding that phone for the very first time is back here with ios26. Also that adaptive power mode truly does bring an extra hours of battery life for my 15PM when ios18 was sucking my battery juice out like there's no tomorrow

Any recommended coating oil to use (grok told me nanoguard/fusso have the coating oil) or service store where I can get a guy/girl to replace the coating on the screen for me every few months or as needed since my 15PM now keeps on being sticky with grease like substance despite me wiping it with a slightly damp microfiber cloth and yet it is still dirty. Makes me go crazy at how dirty the screen feels but it looks clean to the naked eye and zero surface scratches but when viewed under intense lighting or using spotlight can see all the micro scratches that are present on the screen

Bought this for my 17PM. Probably the best stand I have ever experienced yet coz I had their snap-on wallet terrible build quality only lasted me less than 2 years of wear & tear. It became floozy like it couldn't support the heavy 15PM anymore without a case mind you as I don't use either a case or screen protector for my Iphone and the wallet skin also peeled off making it look very ugly

I meant I was asking in general, wonder if you have any idea where I could go to get the best value for my 15PM. I know you were quoted the price for 16PM
Makes me wonder if the price quoted to me was the highest possible get

Where you buy this from? I'd prefer to buy from a walk-in store if possible as I would like to have it as soon as possible in my hands for application. Checked shoppee and not exact match was found

yeah but apple or machine only allow trade-in by purchasing the new device whereas I just wanted to trade-in for cash

You are right indeed. Yeah those features are a must upgrade for me if it was locked behind a new device let's say. It's good that was not the case here
I sincerely hope the battery life of my 17PM will be a lot better than the mediocre battery life I got from my 15PM. Charged to 80% at 10am by 3PM after constant use without camera or video usage down to 50% already after navigation & Apple music being utilized with constant whatsapp and safari browsing. Don't know how le to last till 10pm since I never carry a power bank lol just relying completely on my car's qi wireless slow speed charge every time I'm in the car

I'm in the camp of Bigger means Better. I'm hyped for the bigger screen as I feel 15PM not having enough screen size to satisfy me
Was actually hoping 17PM to be 7inches but alas that was not the case

Currently U Mobile centre, I will check out those other recommendations given from the posts above. Need to sell my 15PM to the highest taker basically since mine is in perfect condition never drop & zero hard surface scratches

Same here my 15PM have zero scratches either on the camera lens or on the glass back as I don't use a case or any screen protector

haha that's the same case I had when I bought my 15PM in March 2023 as well, truly nothing that 16PM has that requires me to make the jump since Apple have been lazy for many years now kept on being no innovation sadly until the moment I saw the leak photos of the Cosmic Orange and I fell in love immediately. Not liking all those stale colors of black, silver and white that we had for so long now Pro Max variants looks so enticing and sexy. If I am spending more than RM5k++ on a phone might as well make it a head turner as I don't like cases and I don't like screen protectors so I want the best color to show that very expensive phone with that expensive display

I guess this is not useful for me since I use a 120W charger for all my devices including my 15PM anyway

Lucky you, all I got from my pre-order Centre is a confirmation email with no date whatsoever & a quick check through my order history in the carrier's app gives me the zero order made status when I clearly walked in at 8PM on Friday and signed the purchase form for the pre-order. The staff told me they will provide me with the consignment number once they receive it and I can pick it up at their store when it arrives. On that note anyone here had this same experience when opting for in-store pickup from carrier centre last year with the Iphone 16? Did you get it on day one released or was it delayed?

15PM overheating like mad, refuses to charge when under direct sunlight in the car on a wireless charger if the back of the phone is too hot and unfortunately most of the time it is. So I can't wait for my 17PM to get here and fully transfer everything into the new phone and be rid of the bad thermal performance of the 15PM once and for all

Well I just got off with the CS and they told me pre-order customers will only be contacted on the 19th onwards for collection, there will be no further status update unlike when purchase from other retailers. They told me to expect delivery to the Centre to be within 14 days means I'm out of the launch day pick-up gang

My friend has a 16PM his battery life and heat seems to be worser than my 15PM, glad I didn't upgrade last year. I have heard similar experiences from outside my circle as well, you just might be in the minority

I have been using and will be using the Mcdodo 120W PD fast charger. Charges my 15PM so quick that it actually makes a difference

I heard it's twice the speed of 15PM so if my 15PM currently charges from 0 to 100% in 1hour 30 minutes but I always charge my phone when it hits 30% to 80% or 90% max only anyway that means it might be possible for 17PM to charge in just 1hour 10 mins to full

Thanks, adding the new recommendation to the list of places I have to go to to get my 15PM valued. I had a feeling RM3,075 for a 512Gb 15PM I have been offered with is still on the low end of the spectrum

Where is this rogue app you mentioned? Mind you, the battery status shown here is with very less usage of the phone today due to I am on my desktop PC most of the time. Also I have never or will ever use any phone cases. Heck, I don't even put a screen protector on as I find all these things hiding the beauty of my 15PM. I mean I'm not purposely charging it under the sun it's just when I am driving the sun will hit the wireless charger area



U Mobile also don't need, I did my transfer through their app on my 15PM only. Whole process took me less than 2 mins to complete

At least you got a date.. for the rest of us who pre-ordered from telco centre they just said centre will contact on the 19th onwards itself despite me being one of the first to pre-order at their centre on the 12th at 8PM

Did they tell you when to pick up or being delivered on? I pre-ordered my 17PM Cosmic Orange 512GB on the 12th September at 8:02pm also got zero status update and not guaranteed to get on launch day itself

That's the weird part.. I tried doing it from my PC and it asked for RM10 for the transfer but then I was so busy I actually forgot to proceed with it then when I remembered to switch to e-sim again, this time I did it from the app and it was free of charge despite both were logged into the same account.

I neither use a case or a screen protector or any kind of cover since my Iphone 3GS era

If RM3 extra for 512GB 17PM i've been scammed lol
