hello... i am thinking to look for a job in singapore. anyone working in singapore that can share your experience with me? i am looking to work in engineering field for semiconductor company. around >10yrs working experience in the field.. any idea wad is the pay range in sg? how;s life working in sg?

It's easier to look for job if you know someone (friends or family) there that can refer you in...

Otherwise you are fighting with hundreds of applicants (global and local) for 1 job opening

Unless you have a niche skill else getting in now is hard. But just after election, not too sure too, maybe more vacancy given that the government may be more lax on FT

Try to check in with your contacts in similar field if there is an opening. Years ago when I tried to join cloud engineering field it was tough, nobody wanted to hire. But after working in local Malaysia company with HQ in Singapore, manage to know my colleagues and peers from attending summits/conferences and eventually headhunted to my current company.
