x akan u pakai drone and never copy file/movie out?

dashcam the read cycle will way more than write cycle ..as you only view your footage if got emergency

Dashcam & cctv constantly do loop recording (overwrite video to old data) and that will probably get detected by their diagnostic tools in warranty claim. Camera and drone usually don't get to do that cuz ppl will transfer the data after done recording and just format the sd card.

In so far, I can't access any data that shows logged read

After format, will still write over the designated area that is freed up for rewrite, that had previous data on it

I got many SD cards, I dropped a few into the dash cam, and when I want to access one, I drop another photo SD card to replace the current dash and just left it there till the next time I want to access the dash. So they get inter mixed at some point.

Idk at the end of the day, I feel if they wanna reject the claim based on "normal wear and tear", they can do it, as the clause applies to both endurance and non endurance SD cards. It's not even abnormal wear and tear.

Perhaps the only real test is the face problem test when handing in the damaged card

And from my experience photography and drone has higher stress albeit at shorter durations because the cards are super hot and the write amount in a short time is so much higher due to the high bit rate

wooo...the last time i touched a mini sd card was 2006 or 2007...good luck finding a replacement mini or adapter!

I try playback from the tapo app but most of the time its laggy and doesnt load properly.

Make sure you regularly delete the Emergency (locked) videos so that the camera doesn't keep overwriting the same (unlocked) spot on the SD card. This will make the card wear out faster.

Damn. I knew it. No wonder my sd card spoil after a few years and I blamed the Sun. But stupid chyna cheap dashcam very cumbersome software interface la to connect to the dashcam. Need to enter username register etc

The software just sign in once. If I remember correctly, it's not an online account? Just a username and password for your camera? Can't remember. Not sure what for need username and password if the data is not encrypted anyway.

If don't want download their spyware, just physically remove the card and delete the unnecessary videos on your computer lo.

There's a USB type adapter too. Probably more versatile than the SD type adapter.
