Trump and US run out of toilet paper, so he desperate/begging call China for a meeting and postpone tariff for 2 weeks, until they stocked up on those toilet papers. Now back to his TACO again

No matter how you laugh at orange man, the overall direction of his administration is clear. The US is going to focus on itself for a while. Their threshold for pain is their achilles heel, but the overall direction hasn't changed for Trump.

QUOTE(ipohps3 @ May 30 2025, 11:37 PM) well looking at more restrictions on China by US, not surprising that China doesn't want to ease the restriction. On one hand Trump ban sales of AI chips and many high tech items to PRC, but at the same time expect PRC to sell rare earth so US can continue to benefit from advanced tech. Really delusional double standards retard. Lancer07, Rusty Nail, and 1 other liked this post

QUOTE(The Retailer @ May 31 2025, 02:18 AM) But i would say in a very rude, raw, ineffective way. Yes, Trump is being too aggressive. If in chess he is openly chasing pieces using Queen. He will eventually lost his queen. I'm going to give another longer analogy. There was this big, beautiful superstore. For many years, it had the best deals, the widest range of products, FREE PARKING! One day, this superstore decided to charge parking fees. These parking fees were HUGE! There was never anything like this before. And this superstore said to it suppliers, you know, if you want to continue placing your products on MY SHELFS, you are going to need to make a deal. It is going to be a TREMENDOUS deal, and we are going to MAKE A LOT OF MONEY! But the problem was, the superstore was big, but it forgot, there were many other smaller stores around. And once you added up the numbers, the total was bigger than even the superstore! But true to form, he doubled down. LOL. And so customers started to gradually look for these smaller stores. And the superstore, once the business and foot traffic shrank, risked making their loyalty card holders unhappy. The superstore started to panic and throw a tantrum. "Those are NASTY people." Relax amdk bros, have a taco. ![]() The Retailer and noien liked this post

QUOTE(11c @ May 31 2025, 08:20 AM) China agreed to buy $200 billion more in U.S. goods (over 2 years) above 2017 levels. Deal nullified since US started chips sanctions. How to buy if US choose not to sell? The U.S. suspended some tariffs, but kept many in place. It included IP protection, forced tech transfer, currency transparency clauses. 2. Did China violate it? Yes, but context matters: China bought far less than pledged — by end of 2021, they had only fulfilled ~57% of the purchase targets. |

QUOTE(ipohps3 @ May 30 2025, 08:20 PM) .= Trump was foolish to sympathize with the suffering China-people whose political master is the communist CCP, ie it was up to the CCP to alleviate the suffering of its people, not USA/Trump. Trump should sympathize with his own country and people first, ie America, American people and businesses. ....... Now Trump's ass got played by the CCP, ie CCP reneged on the Geneva agreement, eg for CCP China to soon remove export controls on critical rare earth magnets used by many industries. Similarly, Trump should not sympathize with renegade regimes like Hamas/Gazans, Yemen/Houthis, Iran, North Korea, etc. Similarly in life, we should not sympathize with convicted criminals, terrorists and known offenders/cheaters and their suffering families, eg their wife, kids and elderly parents. Instead we should sympathize with crime victims and their families, plus innocent widows and orphans. . This post has been edited by lurkingaround: May 31 2025, 09:01 PM |

I seeRead the news article below about what scammer-CCP China violated, ....... https://finance.yahoo.com/news/exclusive-ch...ml?guccounter=1 - Exclusive-Car makers warn China's rare-earth curbs could halt production - 31 May 2025 . President Donald Trump accused China of violating terms of a deal reached this month to temporarily dial back tariffs and other trade restrictions. I also see China's embassy in Washington responded by saying it was the U.S. that was abusing export controls in the semiconductor sector. Looks like both also violated the agreement. Agree? Who violated first. I don’t know. The one violated first is the real scammer. This post has been edited by abm: May 31 2025, 09:00 PM |

I also see China's embassy in Washington responded by saying it was the U.S. that was abusing export controls in the semiconductor sector. Looks like both also violated the agreement. Agree? Who violated first. I don’t know. The one violated first is the real scammer. . .... In a social-media post Friday, President Donald Trump accused China of violating terms of a deal reached this month to temporarily dial back tariffs and other trade restrictions. "China, perhaps not surprisingly to some, HAS TOTALLY VIOLATED ITS AGREEMENT WITH US," Trump said in a post on his Truth Social platform. China's embassy in Washington responded by saying it was the U.S. that was abusing export controls in the semiconductor sector. A U.S. official with knowledge of the talks told Reuters that only tariffs and Chinese non-tariff countermeasures were covered in Geneva talks, and that U.S. export controls were not part of the deal. The official also expressed frustration that Beijing appeared to be moving slowly on promises to issue rare-earth export licenses, which could kick start export control retaliation by Washington if automakers vulnerable to shortages of the minerals are forced to halt production. While a handful of licenses have been granted, including to some Volkswagen suppliers, Indian automakers say they still have received none and will have to stop production in early June. German auto parts maker Bosch said this week that its suppliers have been bogged down by China's more-rigorous procedures to receive export licenses. A Bosch spokesperson described the process as "complex and time-consuming, partly due to the need to collect and provide a lot of information." . |

CCP China is not just a top money scammer but the global HQ for iPhone thieves, ....... https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14...arketplace.html - Is this where YOUR stolen phone ended up? Inside China's 'stolen iPhone building' where devices snatched in the West are sold on the cheap in huge marketplace - 22 May 2025 An unassuming building in the bustling southern Chinese city of Shenzhen has become the largest hub for the stolen iPhone trade. Located in the city's Huaqiangbei electronic commercial street, the Feiyang Times building is known for selling second hand mobile devices from Western countries for cheap. Many are traded in by western consumers to network operators or to phone repair shops. But the tower's fourth floor has become synonymous with the illicit phone trade, where thousands of iPhones snatched by balaclava-clad thieves in Europe and the US end up, according to the Financial Times. China's 'stolen iPhone building', is considered to be one of the most important hubs in a supply chain of second hand technology that starts in Europe and ends up in the global south. Hong Kong serves as a critical middleman in this supply chain where hundreds of second-hand device wholesalers are based, with many of them in a single industrial building in the Kwun Tong district. Phone traders from Shenzhen will make the short trip to the building on 1 Hung To Road to view wholesales quantities of phones, before purchasing them in online auctions and bringing them back to Huaqiangbei. This trade partly thrives thanks to Hong Kong's status as a free trade port, where traders can avoid heavy import taxes. ... . |
