betul betul topkek how many haram buns have you eaten today? https://worldofbuzz.com/were-not-halal-cert...ontain-alcohol/In a Threads post by @hazirahanapi, she shared a screenshot of a comment that claimed one of the employees told a customer that the cakes contained wine. The customer was there to get a birthday cake, and she was informed by the employee who attended to her. A Facebook post by Amin Shukor also went viral for the same matter and has caused concerns among Muslim consumers who frequent the bakery. Lavender Bakery Malaysia also clarified that they are not halal-certified by JAKIM. This post has been edited by Skylinestar: May 29 2025, 08:34 PM

QUOTE However, Lavender Bakery Malaysia also clarified that they are not halal-certified by JAKIM.
“We would like to assure everyone that the ingredients we used, such as butter, oil, cheese, and sausage, are sourced from Halal-certified suppliers.”
“Any comments that claimed our products contained alcohol are untrue. We do not use any alcohol in the baking.”
Lavender Bakery Malaysia also said that they are operating under the “No pork, no lard, no alcohol” policy. Best to find that employee.

FYI. unlikely. if bake more than 1 hour roti also hangus already Many factors impact the final alcohol content of homemade recipes. How long the dish is cooked at the boiling point of alcohol (173 degrees Fahrenheit) is a big factor (source: USDA Table of Nutrient Rentention Factors, Release 6: Time Cooked at Boiling point of alcohol Approximate Amount of Alcohol Remaining 15 minutes 40 percent 30 minutes 35 percent One hour 25 percent Two hours 10 percent Two and one-half hours 5 percent

big hoo haa because of haLOL
just because a restaurant, pastry shop, bakery shop or whatever shit shop didn't put big big LEL logo at the front = don't automatically assume it's halal
even those mamak that people usually go, I can guarantee you half of them aren't even certified halal, some staffs even touched cooked fried chicken with BARE FCKING HAND AND SERVE IT TO CUSTOMERS, saw it with my own eyes
if so concerned about halal status, go check the shop/website before buying, nuff said, if buy then only question then jialat lo
