He said that manpower shortage has always been a common problem faced by private nursing homes. He has repeatedly requested dialogue and meetings with relevant government agencies on this matter but to no avail.

The four arrested foreign workers were found through a job posting on the nursing home's Facebook page. At that time, the nursing home was in the most urgent need of manpower, and they also helped the nursing home overcome its current difficulties. "

He said that with the arrest of the four people, if the shortage of manpower in private nursing homes is not paid attention to and addressed by the government, another four private nursing homes in Negeri Sembilan are expected to face closure next month.

He said that the home has helped many lonely elderly people in the past 23 years, including those who sleep in garbage dumps, wander around or suffer from disasters that result in incomplete limbs. These people cannot take care of themselves and need someone to take care of them, including cleaning up their excrement, feeding or giving medicine, and follow-up visits.

"There are currently 41 people living in the home, aged between 60 and 100 years old. Ten of them are lonely elderly people who do not receive care fees because they have no family support. Although some of the elderly have families, some are sent here because of family disputes. My wife Liang Caifeng and I hope to bring care to the society with love, and we also accept people sent here by representatives to handle complaints, regardless of political party and community background."
