I need add a second verification phone number for gmail but the verification for 1st phone number always failed.

Add backup phone number can but add second phone number verification always failed.
Always said too many ateempts or suspicious activity please try again later.
Been trying to do that for months now.

I dfidnt even spam emails to others so whats the problem?
Is it someone attemnpt to hack into gmail?

Outlook mail you can check for activity but gmail how to check?

dont try too often .. let their system to exit cooling period for about another coming 2 weeks and retry, also make sure u use Google related products on the same computer within the cooling off period ..

Nope it isnt bind to android phone. Until now still cannot add so i move important mails to another email in case this gmail locked up.

Now another problem one gmail account i use regularly have 2 phone number for security sms code. but recently one number always ask for qr code while the other number work fine using sms code. Its been this way since months ago.
