...from where I see it....these are ALLLL positive issues...

consumers will always be consumers....but manufacturers now are more geared to address long term charging facilities, battery efficiencies and faster charging safer capabilities....

this pushes China to deal with these problems earlier compare to other EV countries.....

Prefer less temp fluctuation (better with temp never go below 15 c)

Prefer to have ample sunshine (better with > 8 hrs sunshine)

Tropical country somehow meets the requirement.

MY even better with well connected power network and easy access to tech requires to sustain the industry.

I hope they can invent solar roof with good protection. I usually parking under sun whole day when working. But the solar panel efficiency still no enough to give significant charge...

the best one to embrace electricity for now is plug in hybrid. Current EV range and charging infrastructure still not worth it.

For Malaysia, I think >8 of sun hour is kind of a long stretch, 5 is more like it.

Overall, the "regret rate" data shows that users in some large and medium-sized cities have good feedback on the use experience of electric cars, while the experience of electric car owners in low-tier cities and counties needs to be further improved. According to the 2023 data released by McKinsey, the "regret rate" of electric car owners in third- and fourth-tier cities is as high as 54%, far higher than the 10% in first- and second-tier cities.

10% 'regret rate' only in first and second tier cities

tapi mckinsey ni topkek 10% + 54% divide by 2 equals 32% then dapat the headline more than 30% regret owai

but in reality more ppl buy in the tier 1 tier 2 cities
same like here la u live in klang valley unlikely to face any issues with charging

betul CONsultant ni

Solar Charging is dependent whether government NEM is being continued or not, if one day gov or tnb pulls the plug, do u think people would still invest in Solar?

The writer quote multiple sources like the Ministry to corroborate McKinsey claim. So should be legit
