my area the 2 street of shops have 4 GP clinics and 1 pharmacy for many years, didnt add or reduce in number.
then one fine year, came the pharmacy frenzy opening.
end up total 5 pharmacies in that 2 row shops.
idk how they going to survive, but good for consumer i guess.
AA pharmacy staff treated me like invisible. so i boikote and go other pharmacy instead. since competition is immense, i doubt the price can differ much.
