Ppl will only go to doctors who they trust . If the doctor lacks the soft skills to deal with patients, confirm their clinic will fail even though they have the knowledge.

Being a Dr is not just about being a Dr. Its all about how the doctor talks to the patient, how they make their patients feel good about themselves.

Being a Dr is also a salesjob. U are basically selling your skillset to patients. Whether patients buy your story depends on how good your present yourself

I have been to sorry to say some type M clinics where the doctor is wearing a working shirt and pants but wearing slippers. Besides , he looks like he is there to just make a quick buck. After consulting me, he straight away ran out of the clinic to do something.

why is wearing slippers an issue for u?

clinic profit because they mark up the medications.  it is not the only way they earn, but one of the main and most common.

if up to the consultation fee, so little only.

clinic also earn with medical report, procedures, ultrasound, blood tests, nebuliser etc.  all this cannot get elsewhere, except maybe blood test pharmacy also doing nowadays.  Nebuliser fluid actually sell at pharmacy, along with the gas machine.  But if self do but dunno how to mix with salt water and when to repeat dose, probability to mampus at home also.  Clinic do because most doctor trained at emergency department, it is bread and butter service.

clinic with lots of knowledge for procedures especially ultrasound sure earn one.

clogs and scrubs very common in hospital, because the doctor moving around ward to ward and easier to do procedure

but if clinic, yes, better wear proper office attire with shoes.  All those specialist at pantai/kpj etc for sure will never be caught wearing slipper in their clinic.  GP doctor wear slipper not good for their image and image of outpatient care as a whole.

Slipper dude. Those cheap flat slippers . Its in a normal GP clinic. He is not a specialist. Just a normal GP.

i have been into some dental clinics where they force everyone to remove their shoes and they allow you to go in barefoot or you can choose to wear their slippers. the dentist also wears slippers.
