Out of necessity I suppose.
Majority have to? use the MRT or bus to get around.

I'm sure there'd be many who would rather drive and walk less but it's not financially feasible.

But anyway, we should walk more. I'm all for that.
Whether, its outside or on a treadmill indoors...

Im reading if u want longer life u better walk or exercise those legs, esp older folks… sekali kaki lemah, prone to falls n patah kaki… sekali patah kaki … quality of life down d drain n for older folks ….x joke! cry.gif

Ive a kolik whose wife = housewife, stay home only… never exercise…… now 45yo x boleh naik tangga sendiri… nak husband help… belum warga tua lagi dah liketat…

Necessity plus availability of pavements.
My own experience: walking 2000+ steps in KL is more tiring than walking 3000+ steps in Singapore.
