I see a lot of website di on uninsured, they all have one conclusion, you lose your NCD. MCCB, the fella uninsured and is our problem... sue the fella in court would cost more than the repair itself.

if you sure 100% win, you can claim the legal cost from the other party as well.

ok good point. I didnt think that far.
Good to know thanks! Ya, will see it all the way through.
This is what i understand, if got injury can claim with MIB but your car destroyed also, you a fked, if the guy got no car insurance.
Court i think the repair alone won't be more than 10K, go court have to hire vampire, the cost already like 10K, can recover cost + repair cost = 20K? A bit doubtful. You know any lawyer handle accident cases and what they charge?
Insurance also cannot afford. Stress now, get quote from Bermaz later come out 5 figure, confirm the MTF gonna ghost.

you would probably need to get lawyer quotation for that, they usually have a standard pricing across the board. if kenal loyah then can get discount on goodwill basis.

just go make polis report, and make sure you are not the 'at-fault' party. probably you can claim OD-KFK without impacting your own NCD at worse case scenario.

OH MY FKing GOD

What if, on the other hand, the accident was not your fault, and you are compelled to make a claim with your online car insurance carrier to cover the cost of the damage? If your insurance policy is comprehensive, you may be eligible to claim ODKFK also known as Own Damage Knock-for-Knock. You may claim your own car insurance under the ODKFK claim without jeopardising your NCD status if you have a Police Investigation Outcome establishing that the third party was at fault. As a result, when your car insurance policy is renewed, you will continue to be eligible for NCD.

However, there are several exceptions when it comes to ODKFK claims, such as the ones listed below:

If the third-party vehicle is used for hire and reward, such as Grab/Uber, taxi, hire buses or school buses,
If the third-party vehicle is not insured,
If there is third-party bodily injury involved, regardless of who is at fault,

o shit. anyway, can just try buat bodoh first.

police report dulu to protect yourself.
then start to settle outside and if resolved within your timeframe n your own workshop, retract report.
otherwise, pray insurance resolve it for you.
