i help u summarize the important points from the comments by others:
1. if you don't need the money for the next 20 years , you can put in there. 2. There are only like 2 -3 good funds that can match or exceed EPF returns for 3-5 years. You need to do your homework. case closed |

QUOTE(H4XF4XTOR @ May 22 2025, 01:49 PM) then why people discuss it as if it's different entity. me no understand. I bet what they are saying here is to add more investment into Epf than the standard contribution from the statutory income.does investing in kwsp i invest not the same is invest/saving in epf? |

I-invest is allowing you to use your epf and buy stupid mutual funds from PBB that helps to pay my annual dividends while losing your investment. EPF money is managed by EPF and gives you 5.5-6% p.a. yhtan liked this post

if you are not a risk taker...dont know how to invest and no time to jaga your portfolios..... KWSP is your best bet.... world class fund managers with steady return every year and no extra costs to u.
if EPF dividend rate is 5.5% .... outside u need to make maybe 6% or 7% to cover agent fee, this and that taxes to match the money u got from EPF dividend. no matter how smart u r... i believe in long run, EPF still the best bet... some ppl say very risky to put all in EPF... trust me that if EPF bankrupt i guess all financial institutions and Bursa all in deep shit as well...
