nowadays people take it for granted.
condo mgmt mau good security, don't allow stranger go up, end up parcel drop to common area je.
courier simply just deliver to common area, or just drop in front of door, nowadays many don't even bother to ring the bell.
recipient pula dah biasa parcel let it be and anggap selamat. My condo one, i see my downstair neighbour, many many big ass parcel left more than a week outside door je. i mean once if in a while you balik kampung lupa ke apa paham la..but this macam every 2 weeks like this, not just leave for a day or night, its a whole week.

Some condo management so damn strict they just ask you put at below lobby table, the parcels are also within my hand reach but got CCTV at ceiling la watching you, only dumbass would go steal it in front of CCTV. And also getting past security guard house/entrance already got your info also unless condo is not guarded then different story

Rider should take picture as proof of delivery. Condo oso have CCTV, rider can make police report say customer simply blame rider.

even if the perps give driving license also those guard wont be bothered to check whether it is genuine or not, face same with the driver or not

The guards are paid 2k a month, u expect them to check whether a license is genuine or not? Lol. U shud be thankful that u even have someone standing at the gdhse for 24 hours a day la and being paid peanuts

In any condo, guards are not responsible for any parcels.

damn, feels like nostalgia already I still remember that card

I bought something online and got scolded by mom because got this card hanging at the door, that time I'm already legal to own myself a debit card and it was also my first online purchase, kinda nervous the package kena stolen or whatnot. Had to go 3KM distance and pick it up myself.

Nowadays don't give a shit if parcel gone or kena hijack, just one button click in apps then CS come help you, unless if parcel is worth 4 digits then different story la. I got one time one parcel worth RM3K kena hijack, luckily able to get refund on full amount.

Just recently last week I bought something from Shopee, said already dropped but when I looked at the proof of delivery, it looked like someone else's door. Tried to look around neighbors door but don't look like the same door, I even knocked and asked them they also don't know. I had contacted CS and they said they will mark it as urgent and chase after the delivery man. Literally the next day the delivery guy whatsapp'ed me and said sorry boss and managed to get the parcel back safely

that's what I said earlier, what's the point of asking for a driver's license if the underpaid guard won't even bother to check its details?

Of course. Guard job is not to authenticate license . They take license to register is merely to fulfil their duties and sop given by mgmt.

If u want them to authenticate every single license, u have to provide them with the tools necessary to authenticate.

Besides they would have to go for a special training on how to authenticate malaysian license

And u think paying them 2k they will do all these? U would need to pay them higher 3k and above

Thats where u r dumb. Since when mgmt office job is to manage parcels, record details of the person collecting parcels? U think mgmt office is a delivery/sorting centre ah? Whos gonna be responsible for missing parcels?

U expect the mgmt company to hire 1 person just to manage parcels? Then later they increase maintainence fees, u all complain.

Parcel is the sole responsibility of the person who bought it.

just like your vehicle, park at your own risk.....because they're not gonna be responsible and take the risk if something happen to it.

my area one ok wor, they will ring the bell first. if no one baru call. then ask macam mana. normally i just inform them throw behind the gate. unless it is big one, they will put slowly. maybe my house got 2 cctv. one at entrance and another on 2nd floor pointing to the front gate. So they be more mindful about it.

This I can confirm. 1 time my friend go and give them ic of teenage boy, that guard don't even bothered, my friend is 40+ ... Then the next time used the same ic on other guard at other places, that guard look at him cockeyed, he proceed to say the ic belongs to me, then the guard don't bothered also cause i m younger . Sometime he even use ic / driving license of women, those guard just don't care . The most crazy thing he ever used was expired credit card & american express card, after he give the cc card to the guard, he told the guard ini saya kasi lu pegang, tapi jangan pakai ya then like that can go in already

But most of the time u can just say "hantar barang" they will let u in without asking which house number or road. Even if they ask, u can standby a house / road number u take from google maps . Last time when collect debt, that guard saw my hand got police lipot, they thought we are pengawai . Straight cooperate and let us in without fuss, some more lead us to the exact house we are looking for

normally there will be description of item(s) on that piece of paper/sticker

Shopee parcel doesn't list the item dei, Lazada, I don't know.
