driver is a pro-racer well known among sepang kakis

car had mechanical brake failure going into final turn causing the crash

and yes no insurance coverage provided for track driving, means car owner (the passenger in the video, which was being coached by the driver) has to pay for the car, track damage and likely his hospital bill as well

car owner claimed the car had upgraded brakes but turns out it was stock brakes with overdue parts and fluids so fault wasn't on the driver

just unfortunate event for everyone involved

people who laugh at him probably stuck with driving 100hp shit cars that cant even survive 1 lap of sepang doing below 3 min timing
