im not a pro driver, just a gamer that loves to race in sepang be it car or moto.

from the video can see the driver applied a late braking

with that speed, only tuned or heavily modded car like DTMs or GT car can properly handle the corner

must be the driver excited so much until he forgot he is driving a street legal car.

and yes no insurance coverage provided for track driving, means car owner (the passenger in the video, which was being coached by the driver) has to pay for the car, track damage and likely his hospital bill as well

car owner claimed the car had upgraded brakes but turns out it was stock brakes with overdue parts and fluids so fault wasn't on the driver

just unfortunate event for everyone involved

people who laugh at him probably stuck with driving 100hp shit cars that cant even survive 1 lap of sepang doing below 3 min timing

Driver thought late braking can help to show power of amg I suppose

But yeah guys before go track day need to inspect car top down left right most important is drive train, suspension, brakes and tires

Also even if you inspect all nicely, other car may crash into or infront or somewhere around u so some defence driving knowledge is required

But Ina nutshell, it all comes down to your luck to be honest, some day u get lucky and some days u really get lucky


Also prepare for 0 insurance claim over your life and the car. Your life insurance has a clause if involve in dangerous activity then it’s null and not covered ya.

that is formula driver with formula 1 car

but not formula driver with GT63 or AMG GTS
