That's why for semenanjung, many influencers always noted that 7.30pm is still quite bright here.

If follow correct timezone, should be around 6+ sunset.

Lol, Singapore also has the same timezone like us, you moron.

What is Singapore excuse?

We follow Sarawak and Sabah time, the most East region.

Same like China, their country timezone, follow the most East region of China.

Lol, why they follow our "political and unscientific, like many things else in this country" timezone?

We follow the most east region which is Sabah and Sarawak.

They should not follow our "political and unscientific" timezone.

Long time ago, people don't have smartphones and computers to do automatic timezone conversion. Long time ago, many Malaysians got confused about GMT+7 and GMT+8 and caused meetings to not be in sync.

Nowadays all automatic calendering. I wish we can change back the timezone so that our bio rhythm isn't so messed up.

If in Japan and fly to Hawaii, can go back to 1 day before, so if celebrate new year in Japan, can easily celebrate another new year by flying to Hawaii after partying in Japan.

Malaysia and Singapore are so tightly intertwined that it causes problems if both were on different timezones. Made necessary by Malaysia's decision.

I also wish. But 1 hr difference won't mess up our body clock la

China one really a mess. People in Tibet and Xinjiang wakes up at 11AM for example and sleep late

at least better than masuk US, multiple timezone. terus pening.

i dont care about matahari naik or turun, but i scared kena tinggal flight, terlepas meeting or something, make tons of guessing which time zone does the client talks about.

its just to simplify life lor

like someone above said, if you play around with alot of time zones it gets confusing. like last time i used to work for US region, between New York and California side both also different time zones. it gets really complex to arrange things

to be exact, it depends when you were born.
eg, if you were born in between 1945 sept 2 - 1982 May, your calculated life duration vs real duration has a 30min gap.

If you search today's sunset at the furthest East city and furthest West, there's >1 hour difference

Tawau = 6:14PM
Penang = 7:26PM

Yeah Semenanjung one doesn't seem natural at all
