That is not 100% correct. Some people need to around other all the time no matter what age. That's why they have gatherings. Got younger people just do not like to socialize and like to avoid other by giving excuses.

of coz there are exceptions.

for many of us.. the older we gets... the more we are selective on who to dedicate time and effort towards.

Exceptions would be those who need to be dependent on others for daily rituals like OKUs or poor self image (attention seeker). Socializing means showing ourselves to the world in hope they're impressed and pay attention to us. Nobody socialize and go " I dont give a damn how they think of me" . those DGAF adults already minimized their socializing .

When people getting old, they found out they can't keep up the pace with younger crowd. staminal also can't compete. All they need is to keep their own unique pace and tempo at their best.

During COVID time, this is called Social Distancing; it's good actually, avoiding toxic people.

Getting older and talking less is because we talk too much when we are younger..so we are chilling out now.

Im already old during my younger years.

I enjoy my quiet time and I dont need to talk a lot...

That's normal, we call them extroverts and introverts.

You don't really avoid all people as you age.

You try to avoid STUPID people the older you get because you realize it's just a waste of time and energy.

I avoid ppl because i finally got the autonomy to do whatever the fuck i want.

Always been the awkward kid in class. But good thing my confidence level is sky high and very direct when talking thanks to ADHD. My whole life i will mind my own business and always seems to be very into whatever i do so i am naturally end up very good with what i like to do. Turns out being confident, no faking and really blunt in communication is perfect recipe for good life especially in all boys school.

as introvert avoided ppl since borne

depend on character maybe.
Introvert love to be alone. feel like recharge.
Extrovert love to meet people. feel like dying when cannot talk to others

you'll realize that ppl does change along with age and experience, mindset + attitude

the one that you mentioned is habit which is really hard to change

nothing to avoid when there is nothing to begin with.

I don't think I have changed. experience, mindset + attitude are stagnant.
I think you need external forces to change you. I just don't expose myself to any external forces.

as you grow older you will realise time is limited and you will start to prioritise... like food if i need to queue, its not worth it...
