Always i see tiktok, many say chongqing is cyberpunk city, shanghai is way more advanced than tokyo and miles ahead affluent than new york.

Even second tier city like tianjin, suzhou, wuhan are ahead of sydney or KL.

I been there, even their smaller cities all got subway system. We only have LRT MRT in KL lol.

their small cities have bigger population than our KL with millions population

Yes correct. But that time where technology and advancement is really needed that they cannot employ cheap labour anymore.

The only way to make less precision products for cheap is to use cheap labour.

The only way to make expensive precision products is to use trained and knowledgeable expensive labour.

Those expensive branded bags and wallets are not precision products. You could train cheap labour to make it. @ factory assembly labour.

You can however make crude electronics with cheap labour. Electronic control boards for single function or toys.

But you cannot make precision board like PC motherboards & smart phone boards with cheap labour. But parts of the assembly can be cheaper with manual labour than a fully robotized assembly line. 1 robot can cost 10-50 people wages in purchase cost, training and maintenance costs. So the final answer to why manual labour is used is no brainer.
