Alor Gajah: Tiga penuntut universiti swasta warga Pakistan cedera termasuk seorang parah selepas kereta dinaiki mereka terbabas di Kilometer 213 Lebuh Raya Utara Selatan (PLUS), arah utara, dekat sini, pagi tadi.

Sos

Steering can cause lost control? whistling.gif:

At most also can’t steer and just knock whatever in front of them instead of lost control. Lost control normally due to overspeed

Good luck to the owner of the car. Nowadays a lot of unlicensed car rental companies cropping up.

/k dont belip japanese got issue one, they are da best in the world, mana mungkin steering ada isu, few thousands lemon only, must be isolated case

https://www.change.org/p/demand-the-redesig...-steering-racks
QUOTE
The issue stems from a problem with the gearbox worm wheel, which can cause swelling in a gear within the steering rack, leading to increased steering load.

amdk sos, already many crashes because of steering from this brand, but in malaysia krik krik krik, not sure la, just blame it on user will do, all busy licking the car brand anyway, news is out but /k is busy defending.

Summary:
On March 17, 2023, The Office of Defects Investigation (ODI) opened Preliminary Evaluation (PE23-005) to
access the alleged defect of momentary increase in steering effort in model years (MY) 2022 and 2023
Honda Civic vehicles. The complaints report that the momentary increase in steering effort (described as
Investigation: EA23003 Open Resume Page 2 of 2
"sticky steering") occurs mostly at highway speeds after driving for a certain amount of time. The reports
have been received over the past 2 years with most occurring with low vehicle mileage

ODI complaint traffic remains steady. ODI has received 13 crashes to date, 11 of which allege roadway
departure due to not being able to overcome the momentary increased steering effort prior to their vehicle
leaving the roadway. The remaining 2 incidents claim overcorrection of the steering wheel.

Summary of Complaint
When turning on a curve the steering locks up/sticks for about 2 or 3 seconds and then it unlocks. When it locks up I could unlock it by using a bit of force to unlock/unstick it before it does by itself. I took to dealer and they say I need the whole steering rack. I have done research on this issue and I saw lots of 2023 crv owners are reporting the same issues. There is a recall to replace steering spring and to lubricate. But this recall issue is affecting cr-v whole rack and it should be in the recall. Honda did not make the steering properly and its causing many steering issues. There should be a recall on all steering issues. I currently have to drive my car with this issue because I don't have $4k for a new rack which is what they told me at dealer it cost. My crv is less than 2 years old and I should not be experiencing a issue like this and operating this vehicle which is not safe because Honda did not manufacture steering components correctly.

Summary of Complaint
As I'm turning at curve the steering locks up and sticks and I have to use a both hands to stay in my lane. You can easily hit a car turning the curve next to you when the steering locks up. I took it to dealer and they knew about having these issues from other CR-V and they said it's the steering rack. pinion. No lights or warning turn on when this happens. Other honda owners on reddit were having the same issues. It's where I found out I can put a complaint so this issue can be reviewed.

Incident Date April 19, 2025
Consumer Location CARENCRO, LA

Summary of Complaint
When driving at highway speeds, a slight turn to left causes to steering wheel to get "stuck" where it takes more than normal force to get it back to center. It's hard to keep car going straight. Reported to Honda and they say there is a steering recall to some 10th Gen Civics but not mine. It's 3300 to fix and this issue has been happening since 50k miles. Plus turning steering wheel to left "clicks". This should be part of a recall and not force people to pay for an expensive repair that is a manufacturer defect. Plus it's a safety issue.
