Hey guys, i duno wheter asking a question is suitable or not.. cause i really bad in my art and creativity, so u you give me an idea how to modify my white P4 ATX casing9dont mind cause it is a very old casing), i have no idea wat to do at my side panel there,this casing currently carry E6850, 8500GT, 2xIDE DVDRW,CDRW, 2xSATA HDD and a gigabyte mobo lo.. can teach me moding idea? my casing i attach in the ic below.. i will provide more if u needed.. i really no idea to mod it

What is your aim of modding in the first place ??

State that then only anyone could direct u to some where ..

else there would tons of way to mod it and u end up don't know what to do as well .. .

yeah, what doom said is true.
what is the purpose of ur mod anyway?? improving airflow?? esthetic value?? for show off maybe like side window, interior and exterior deco etc2??

then, all sifu2 here can help u...(of course not me la...)

i'll leave it as how it looks right now xD
a very good example of don't judge a book by it's cover xD

well, 2 reason, 1 is to make my case more beautiful, anoher is for better ventilation. cause this case too small,i can feel the heat from GC n proc

how about a pic of the front with the cover and also the side...maybe we can help you...here's a start..whats your theme?...maybe nvidia, gigabyte or something else?

A love shaped side panel?....whatever turns u on then....mask it before drawing anything on it...what about the front panel?

Are you doing this mod for a girl? If you go for love shape side panel, you better start thinking of mods with lotsa pink and red combination.

yea... make it cutety and lovely.. stick all love shape sticker all around of ur chasis..spray whole casing into pinky.. hehe

is tat work? lol.. i just mod for myself la.. btw wat is masking ? and u recommend me spray red and pink colour?

masking is using masking tape and paste on the whole panel.. so it wont kena scratch. =D

If its for a girl...i have an idea...its radical but sweet and never been done to a desktop pc yet!(I think )
heres the idea...cover all the pc chassis with fluffy covers like the ones used for teddy bears...heres a laptop example...I recommend the pink fluffy one..."IF ITS FOR A GIRL"

i think the cuts can be smoother, the shape looks abit rough, but any improvement on your temps?

i think if you use a see-through side panel, it helps to do some cable management....

not bad for a first mod..keep it up.

haha, thx. gona have 2nd soon.. btw, my temp is better d, but i have many fan inside here, i worry that my fan setting was wrong, cause all my fan is blowing outword

as long as you have around the same amount of air intake and exhaust, you will be fine..

not bad for 1st time modding hopping to do modding on TJ06 also but lacking ideas already paint inside the case black...anyway gud job for beginners like us bro keep it up

You can use it to mod your case.

This thing is usually use to repair wreck cars.Its like a cement/clay.

I it also use to cover holes on steel,plastic and alu.

If u use this.You can cover up the floppy drive bay from the outside.

For the 1st time,its quite hard.

go through different modding sites and look throught their sample and work load. go thru gadget magazines, there will be some nice design inspiration which you can make use. budget below 100 is a bit low.

any idea with proper budget?

buy two 12cm fan and cut a hole on top of the casing and put that fan at there as exhaust fan

bro, the love shape more suitable if u spry with pink and red color.BEcoz it's nature and common combination with luv shape.But if u spry with black color look like dark side heart.. , just my 2 cents

Hi bro,askin people to cut it is not necessary as you can do it yourself if you have tools and time.
Well,you can ask some one to cut it fir you,but i am not sure how much is the costs.But i shouldn't be more than RM30.

Yup,you are right,just upside down the case.Thats mean your power supply goes at the bottom and your side panel will be on the right side.

About those rivets,Its simple and easy.All you need is :-

-Drill set.
-New rivets.
-Riveter.

With these two stuff,then you can start taking off your case parts by parts.
All you need to do is to drilled those rivets.

Actually,as a starter,making your case upside down will be a bit hard as the holes to rivets will make your head goes

then how much is the drill + rivet ? expensive?

Sorry again for the late feedback.
As for the drill,the cheapest can get it around RM69.90.
Rivets normally around Rm2-RM3 depends on the size.It is in one pack.
Riveter will costs you about RM30 and below.
About Rm100,you can get all those stuff.

But if you have extra dough,you might consider to get jigsaw thats normally around RM1++ and RM2++.It depends on the quality,brand.
Or you can also consider to grab a dremel that roughly costs about RM180.
Or a grinder + drill in a set box costs about RM169.90

Don't need expensive tools to mod a case.
The cheaper is better as long as you handle it with care.

Oh ya,no need la to put LCD on the panel.I read a reviews wheres the parts of installing the LCD to the panel can costs about a new LCD.

Owh bro,thats not mine.Thats a picture taken somewhere to give u an ideas.
Well,to be honest.Simple modding costs roughly about Rm300-400.
Really custom modding range from Rm400 and above.

hmm,then i think i wan whole transparent casing, how much i need oo roughly

That will be easy.Acrylic you can get below RM100 to make a full transparent case.
Alu for the chassis get the 20 feet for Rm20 roughly.

how many and where i can buy

after u done with the transparent case, u should consider bout the cabling.. transparent case shows everything inside and messy cabling wont help in the look department.

But in kuching its cheap.

There must be a way to hide those cables.

alamak bro i just notice u from skudai. in front of City Square accross the road got one hardware shop.. try go there.. or u can go near balai polis central. got oso one hardware shop there. although sound stupid but 'kedai buat pintu/tingkap or sliding door' (hahaha.. it does sound stupid) usually got the stuff most modders need for casing. They got the equipment too.. good luck..

This is a good setup. Try making a cube acrylic shell. Add a few LEDS, Should pimp up the looks. Also, paint the grey metal plates in black. It should contrast your hardware much under low light conditions.

look like small HTPC.. hehe
