thats why i didnt hesitate to move back to JB from KL last time.

Sure, in KL, you got more malls and places to run to, but it become muak after a few times.

What matter where you stay or visit is the people and culture.

KL valley people is most sophisticated compared to the rest. So there is a lot of happening there e.g. events.

Next on this level is actually Penang ppl. Then only Greater Johor area ppl. But even Greater Johor ppl now got so many ppl outstation too.

JB and Johor as a whole, I think got one thing that win all other City, there are less religious extremist there, if got any, the law deals with them pretty fast. Then all those religious pensyarah if they want to give ceramah in any religous places, their topic and content must be vet thru by the respective religious council. If batu api,,,will be dealt with.

As for infrastructure, I think JB and Johor has been neglect by the Mahathir administration and then other Umno lead administration, only in recent 10 years where we start to see proper planning from competent people and lead by our Sultan.

Every time I cross over from Singapore to JB I feel JB is very run down. The JB sentral area is very overcrowded and chaotic. Traffic is a mess. Many other parts of JB are run down, many malls are dying or died, the buildings around are frequently run down, traffic is always bad at the city center. The newer places are quite nice but then the older parts are left to rot and not maintained. For such a large city, the public transport system is terrible, the bus are frequently in bad shape, no proper public bus terminal, just overall horrible.

I compare with other cities in Malaysia, KL, Penang, Ipoh, Melaka. I think they are in better shape than JB. JB just gives me that dark, gloomy, broken down, shady kind of feel. It seems like I'm stepping into Gotham city sometimes.

Is JB the worst city in Malaysia or did I miss out on another city in Malaysia which is worse?

I wonder which died down malls this dungu going to, when you got other options like paradigm/southkey, etc.

My first impression to SG industrial zone is very compact. Feel suppressed

Then KL (federal highway) and Penang (roundabout) traffic jam is kind of waste time

Thus decided JB is the best. Spacious and traffic not really major issue. So is it about individual preference.

Are you saying as long Johore benefits from this agreement, Malaysia doesnt need to adjust the pricing ?

but hor the rakyat malaysia time to time kena water repricing but singapore as foreigner country doesnt to, wow ????

With that silly pricing, federal should just fund the water treatment ourself and sell it to DC is much more profitable.

Being next to SG is good enuf for JB to be better than others. With RTS & JSSEZ it can only get better n better. The coming decades will belong to JB n it will attract people from other states. Many hardworking people became millionaire by just working in SG. It is not easy to redevelop the old city centre but Iskandar Puteri is turning out well.
