i had to interview an old man today he's 48. I'm not HR but for my line of work my boss usually sends candidates to me for interview because i know better than HR in terms of what to ask. only after i vouch the candidate then HR takes over.

so today this guy came with resume but no certificates like spm diploma degree etc etc but in the resume says got. he claimed dunno where he kept because so long never go interview. last position before resign was almost 15years working for the company. reason he resigned made sense but i won't disclose here lah.
my question is if you were me then what will you decide? is it normal for old people not to have their certs anymore? mind you this position is not engineering or something of that calibre.

this is my first time encounter this kind. is it ok not see his certs but just take him based on his work experiences? after all he almost going to pencen oredi .

but if he lied his resume then that is integrity problem
