QUOTE(seriosekitt3h @ May 2 2025, 02:50 PM) Lol, that china guy can speak Spanish a bit He said, “Relajarte”. That’s the correct verb combo used✅.he said from what I can understand: No se - I don't know Cono - pussy relajar (de hija??) - relax (daughter?, maybe he should say hijo instead, meaning relax son) policia - police no mas de nada - no more yo no es - I'm not/No, I don't And I heard “No hay pasa nada”. No problem✅. Proper way of saying it instead of how non Spanish speakers would go no problemo❌. Por supesto, este hombre no es un tipico viajero. QUOTE(kitzai @ May 2 2025, 02:51 PM) KL is way safer than most Spanish cities but maybe way less "homeless/beggars" than KL.Paris Rome and Barcelona are notorious but throw in Berlin and Frankfurt as well. Sometimes I'm glad walking down KL not to worry about this stuffs. The only shit I'm afraid of are Kelantanese kaki paw near CM and KTM/POS Malaysia around mid 90s and also last time Pududraya also got a lot of scammer/aggressive touts/kaki paw |

QUOTE(seriosekitt3h @ May 2 2025, 03:26 PM) Jajaja, one of the best paella places in BCN in the late 2010’s (ya, I know you don’t eat that in BCN one lah) had a Bangla chef. 11 years ago, when MH370 happened, he ran after us as we were leaving the restaurant to offer us his condolences, saying he worked in MYS before. I was like, wth.BCN is notorious for its safety but honestly, we’ve been in and out more than 10 times and had not encountered any untoward incidents. Maybe we look too poor A local friend of us told us this - if you don’t get you on the streets, they’ll get you in the airport, be careful! We haven’t been back since covid. Our happy place now is in the North. |

Last time I visited Barcelona, if illegal immigrants run into subways, the police or immigration department (can't remember which) can't arrest them anymore because it's under a different jurisdiction.
Anyway, this was a dangerous move by the photographer. If the thief gets injured, he'll probably be charged. This post has been edited by thesoothsayer: May 2 2025, 08:26 PM |

Our happy place now is in the North. que puta calor I did a road trip for 3 weeks in Southern Spain. And eat paella most of the time. Other than that, it is either the Wok thing or burger and fries at local restaurants. The best one was where my host cook us a firewood paella in a village/national park near Valencia. And I ate too many road side/truck stop paella as well. Oh, one moment, I kinda need a stop for a drink after hours of driving so I went to a village near the highway It is like a local pueblo pub, some elders drinking tea and playing chess. Shit feels like in the movie. And I also bought weed from a big random guy in Granada near the gothic/old quarter. He came to me saying in Spanish but I quickly catches on what he meant. EL Marie? Bueno? No fumar? overthemoon liked this post
