Recession is coming soon, more and more Malaysians are getting retrenched. Why can’t government provide unemployment benefits like other developed nations? European countries can even provide up to 87% of their previous working income!

We got EIS lah.. before complaining do some research first

It may not enough but compare also the income tax that we paid compared to those European countries

They have GST over there but here in Malaysia we follow stupid LGE singing ABCGST to remove it

we do have unemployment benefits la bongok. EIS. although not as strong, but sufficient

however, unemployed due to termination on disciplinary action is not liable for eis claim. i believe majority termination are due to their own stupid actions

in NZ it is called jobseekers benefit. Some people have been on that benefits for ages. The current rate for a Couple (total) is $614.84 after tax per week.

How come they can enjoy the benefit forever?

The rate is amounting to NZD 2,635 per month!

But living cost is high though the last time I visited...I recalled Indomie instant noodle cost like NZD 6.49 or something when I browsed the supermarket...here only RM4 nia for the same pack
