Recession is coming soon, more and more Malaysians are getting retrenched. Why can’t government provide unemployment benefits like other developed nations? European countries can even provide up to 87% of their previous working income!

See the rates of taxation (income, sales, property etc) in those countries. The money to support the jobless has got to come from somewhere.

Already spent a on cheap/free hospital. Cheap education, certain tongkat, price protection food....
Also, unemployed maybe still can make a living by selling street food by roadside here compared to most of the countries you listed above.

we do have unemployment benefits la bongok. EIS. although not as strong, but sufficient

however, unemployed due to termination on disciplinary action is not liable for eis claim. i believe majority termination are due to their own stupid actions

sometimes we wanted EVERYTHING GOOD implemented by other countries but never appreciate the stuff our gomen already doing for us and trying hard to maintain them.
