Naza was a dealer for Kia at the time. If you want to become a Protiga, you should rebadge all of your Kia models to Naza.

I believe somewhen around 2018 government fixed the SKD loophole by introduce local content declaration. This make naza suddenly struggling because at that time many naza assembled models (Kia/Peugeot) are SKD. Price forced to raised suddenly when new models coming. Some budget model also outright discontinued (picanto, Rio, and then k3 cerato)
Naza also lost the Chevrolet rights it gained in 2010s at that time. Chevrolet never came back ever since

But with Geely takeover probably tax payer bear lesser on their burden now, many car makers including the brand that we used to rebadge also struggle to make their own car now
